Faith's POV

I ran. Ran like I never have before. He's the worst thing that has ever happened to me. My heart pounded in my chest rapidly while my vision blurred from the tears.
I couldn't believe I slapped him and I would blame it on my natural instincts but that is not going to help. Why is he claiming me as his ?! I am not a Object nor some property ! He even had the nerve to slap me for wanting to go back to my only family. How could he not understand that !

I don't know what he wants from me specifically but I can't sacrifice my entire existence for a mysterious, bipolar and arrogant stranger. I have a life to get too and a Nona to take care of.

I didn't know where I was running but I followed a dark long hallway across the kitchen and just hoped it led to some good hiding place. Oh god, please help me. When my eyes landed on a creepy door, I decided to open it and to my surprise, it actually wasn't locked.

As soon as I exited his huge mansion from the backside, the view left me appalled. Even with the moonlight, this place was a dark place. I noticed A huge wired fence surrounded the area, enclosing me into this destiny.

Fortunately, it looked climbable so I ran towards it and stopped when I examined the strange wire on there. What if it had the power to kill me? Why would Xavier put a dangerous wire around his fence if he has so much security ?

What if it was meant to look dangerous but wasn't actually electrical ?
But even if it was I think I could make it through the tiny spaces in between. For once I wished I was tinier than I already Am.

God - I leave my life in your hands. Please protect me. I slowly moved towards the awkward fence and stopped in my tracks when I heard the angry voice.

      "FAITH !" I turned around slowly to the dominating voice as it glared at me with a stronger force than anything else. It shut off my body systems as I couldn't move...yet he didn't come forward to try and get me. Does this mean the fence is intact electrical ? Did he not step foreword because he knows that I would probably run towards the fence ?

I took that as a chance to get closer to the fence tiny step by step, But his hard eyes and clenched teeth made it hard for me to focus because I couldn't imagine what he would do if he caught me. He was angry and I never made anyone that angry before. People never get angry because of me. People love me. I snapped out of the strange trance his eyes put me in when he motioned to one of his men to get closer to me and within seconds, like a puppet, he obeyed. That's when It was confirmed the kind of power and authority he holds.

"I am asking you only once to come over here." He said calmly. However, his words did not match his eyes. They held enough anger to destroy the world and the next. In the corner of my eye, I could sense his worker came closer to me. Step by step. He was coming to grab me but I knew he was there. Even in the dark, I knew.

"NOW!" He yelled making me flinch as my eyes teared up again. The man was right to my right and I knew I couldn't leave tonight. The fence must have been electrifying. But I stood my ground. If I can't step backwards, I won't step towards him either.

Within seconds, he pulled out a shiny-metallic  and aimed it at me, making my heart drop. I would rather die by being electrified, knowing that I tried to escape at least. Before I could get the words out of my mouth, he slowly guided the gun towards his own worker who stood there in shock.

"P-please d-don't-" and Before I could finish and comprehend where this was going - he shot him right below the heart. I let out a loud scream as the man pressed his bloody palms to his chest and screamed in agony. He slowly walked backwards before accidentally tripping over making him come down to the ground with such force and his bloody fingers barely touched the hanging wire on the bottom of the dangerous fence. His death arrived as he was electrified to a high extent.
