Xavier's POV

Although I was trying to keep a straight face and handle this situation delicately, it's fucking hard to not rip everything apart. Ma is all I have and care for and anyone responsible for anything related to her unwell being will not go unpunished.

I could see faith and her true care for Ma based on her actions. However, I don't trust anybody at the moment. She may sound sincere but fuck- the innocent beauty might be behind this. and hell- I have a feeling she is.

When the doctor finally arrived, I immediately pushed him in to the bedroom. His eyes grew wide at the sight of Ma but when he felt her pulse, he seemed relieved.
With just me and the doc in the room, I began to bombard him with questions.

"What's wrong with her? She's been taking her medications and has not had a single health issue recently-" before I could even finish the motherfucker interrupted me but I only let him because his words are more important than mine right now.

"Have you been taking care of her diets?" He asked in a daring manner. I don't why he thinks I would fuck up such an important thing. Ma has numerous allergies and foods that she can't eat that affect her organs and her skin.
"Yes, I approve of everything she eats" I said calmly, trying to not get annoyed at the doc that has yet to tell what the fuck was actually happening. He just nodded before telling me to have a seat while he examines her.

"It looks like a food allergy." He started. "I've given her medication via a shot and it's going to put her to sleep while her body naturally fights it. I also gave her another enzymatic shot to help the process. She's fine otherwise."

"Okay. Thank you. I'd like you to stay until she's conscious." I spoke, he's not going anywhere until Ma is really okay. He just nodded as I ordered Leo to show him the guest room and give him some hospitality as well as his check.

Faith's POV

After Xavier asked Leo to take the doc to an spare room, I realized the check up was probably over besides atleast Leo looked a lot more relaxed now. That should be good.
I was debating in my head- should I ask him about what the doctor said? Would he get mad instead?

I was ripped from my thoughts when Xavier walked out of Ma's room and shut the door behind him quietly. his possessiveness over Ma is so crazy.
"Sam and Faith in my office. Now" he said slightly angry. What did I do now?

As we followed him, Sam and I exchanged confused and terrified looks to each other.
"I-I hope he's not upset at the lunch today. I thought we did an amazing job." She whispered, I just gave her a small smile and held her hand in mine.

"It's gonna be alright" hopefully, it was but I highly doubted that in reality.
We both had a seat, as He sat behind his desk. No one spoke for a few minutes as Xavier studied the the weekly food menu.

He circled Tuesday - in red and placed the file in front of us.
"What the fuck went wrong today?" He finally spoke sternly. Sam gulped before asking "w-what do y-you mean?". I noticed how scared she was right now. I don't even know why she would work for such a scary man. I know I wouldn't.

Xavier's heavy hand came down in his desk hard enough to make both of us flinch.
" I mean what I said." He spat clenching his jaw.          " now what the fuck went wrong Sam? You are in charge here."
Sam looks at me and then back at him. As much as I wanted to speak up, I-am not even aware of what he was talking about.

"I make each and every decision especially when it comes to what is made in my house. Why?" He asked, a bit more calmly now, but not enough to keep Sam from stuttering.
"B-because Ma has many allergies that can put her h-health at r-risk."
"Then why the fuck was her health at risk today because of a Some food allergy?" And just at that question- Sam's breathing became heavier.
