Negotiations?

It's been a week since the confrontation with the Fallen. Surprisingly nothing else has happened as of late which means that either they're laying low or he's completely unaware for now. Course it could be both. This would be so much easier if I could use Caster's clairvoyance.

Even after this time I still feel rough about it all. The reason I wanted to come to this world is to escape this endless cycle of death and destruction. Even if you survive there are no winners. In this world we'll be able to protect ourselves in a way we couldn't for before, like the cards for example. Not long after I used the Saber card for the first time I had a premonition which told me something which will give me an edge. Of course I'll keep it hidden as a trump card.

Useful though it possibly may be I don't trust anything that thing shows me.

"Are you still brooding Link? Just get over it, we're far away from that crazy place, we'll be fine."

"I know that Waver but I can't forget you know that. After so many years of endless bloodshed it's weird to just completely forget about it all. Which reminds me I've been sensing a lot of fluctuations in power lately, have you been using the technique to try and talk with a certain boisterous red head?"

Catching him off guard he stutteringly tries to deny it. Even after being war hardened there's still times that I can make him slip which brings me joy.

"I-I-I I have no idea what you're talking about."

"Whatever. No one else cam tell what's going on inside the barrier anyway. Too bad none of us contracted Semiramis."

"I'm pretty sure that a giant floating fortress even grounded would be the exact opposite of inconspicuous." Shirou says as he along with Rin and Sakura walk in.

"Doesn't mean we shouldn't try it, the Hanging Gardens is an absolute defense strategy." Suddenly I feel alarms go off in my head. "Something's wrong, damn it those Fallen are going after the Hyoudou boy again. Ah well, I'm not gonna waste time trying to save his ass again. That's the job of his master. Which reminds, everyone tomorrow we're going to have a talk with the Gremory family."

I was half asleep by the time the class had concluded but just as I was about to get some sleep before going to the meeting in walks the Prince of the school as the girls call him, Kiba Yuuto. "Excuse me I'm looking for Issei Hyoudou and Link Karn." He says making the girls whine but got curiosity from me. I counted on this possibility so I sent a telepathic message to the others letting them know to immediately head to the ORC, receiving silence as confirmation.

As we walk towards the old school building it takes everything I have too not summon my noble phantasm, as we head closer to the club room the sense of foreboding gets stronger, although my intuition tells me that it's not this situation which'll be the problem itself more like the start to it.

As we reach the door I see a shadowy figure in the corner. Looks like one of us has an Assassin card. I always hated those servants but at least I have another eye. "I've brought them president."

"Come in." As we walked in I saw a surprisingly small group. Gremory at her desk, a black haired girl whose name I think was Akeno standing next to her, and on the couch the school mascot. "Welcome Issei, Link. Please sit down while we have a little talk. As you may already be aware of my name is Rias Gremory, the president of the Occult Research Club."

A few minutes later both Issei and Kiba were sitting on the couch but I remained standing at the door awaiting the arrival of my allies. "Why don't you join us Link?"
