Chapter 16- I'll Go

Chris POV

We pulled up outside the flats. Rob got out the car straight away to pick up Nai from the back. I opened my door and grabbed my two retractable walking sticks from under the car seat. I hoped out onto my one good leg for support and made my way to the stairs. Robyn locked the car before over taking me on the stairs. I accidentally dropped one of my sticks and couldn't reach to get it

Chris: Babe! Help me please?

She looked at me from above, rolled her eyes before walking back down, picking up the stick and helping me walk up

Chris: Thanks babe...I love you

She murmured under her breath

Rob: Love you...

She began to cry

Chris: Babe?

I leaned against the rails before holding her to my chest. She still had Nai in her arms and she looked at us confusedly 

Rob: I don't wanna lose you, only thinking I might before killed me Chris! Imagine if I did

Chris: No no no don't think about all that, I'm NEVER going to leave you okay? Robyn Rihanna Fenty okay?

She nodded and wiped her tears with her hand

Chris: Now c'mon, lets just get in the flat

* 2 hours later *

Rob: I still don't get why you want to go back Chris

She stirred our hot chocolates I rocked Nai to sleep

Chris: Rob, Iv'e told you like 2o times now! We still need money, Micheal said I was good at what I did and I wanna get them back. There planning to attack the US apparently, I need to protect the country

Rob: Why do you always think its on you?

Chris: Huh?

Rob: You have to be the one to sort everythin, I can work and-

Chris: You already work being a mom

She smiled, passed me the hot chocolate and took Nai to her cot. A notebook was at the other end of the sofa. I leaned as far as I could and grabbed it.

Chris: Got a pen?

She opened the draw and passed me one

Rob: What you writing?

Chris: Don't matter for now, so once I'm done with rehab, I'll reapply for the navy

She rolled her eyes and sighed.

Chris: Babe just trust me okay?

She sat on the sofa by my side and rested against me. I folded up the paper and put it in my pocket.

Chris: Lets go do something tomorrow, take Nai to the park or somethin yeah?

I felt her nod against my arm.

Robyn POV

I was terrified for him. I closed my eyes as I rested against his warm, beating chest. I couldn't lose him or even come close to doing so again. But I knew there was not stopping him now that his mind was set. Micheal would be there with him to look after him, he saved him last time and if he had to, he would again. It'll be fine...

*Next Day*

I pushed Nai along in her pram and Chris pushed hiself along in his chair by her side. The park was mostly empty bar one woman playing fetch with her dog

Chris: Lets go to that band stand by the river

We followed a long, winding path that led to a blue, white and gold bandstand with the mall river running behind it. Chris wheeled himself up the ramp and I followed.

Nobdoy's POV

He wheeled himself into the centre of the band stand. He looked out to the fast flowing water that yet the speed it was going at, it didn't make a sound. His fiancee wheeled their young daughter, bright and full of light up the ramp as he prepared himself for what he was about to do. As she pushed thir daughter past, He grabbed her hand

"What?" She raised her eyebrows at him. He rubbed his finger around the ring that was on hers

"Gimme that a sec"

"Whyyyy?" She apprehensively removed it and placed it in his hand

"Because this needs to be done properly" He pulled her away from the pram

His sweet voice caressed her ears and  pulled out all her emotions. It was then the best part came. He pulled himself out the chair, clutching the ring in his hand. He slowly moved down onto one knee, bringing tears to her eyes

"I know you're scared, I am to but I do this for both of us Rob and Nai, I love you with everything I have even though that will never be enough for someone like you, the star in my hand is this, this ring, and it yours forever I don't care about ANYTHING else, as long as you have this" He slid it onto her finger as they shared a long tear filled kiss. He he;d her close knowing all the hurt he was going to bring to her

It will be okay in the end and if it's not okay, it's not the end
