The warm and cozy scent of coffee and freshly-baked goods danced in the air, hitting your nostrils and making your mouth water. Cafe Bangtan is what the quaint establishment was called. It was a new small business that opened up in town and you were always eager to trying out local shops and cafes, so you decided to drop in and see what the establishment had to offer. Glancing around the small business, you spotted seven male employees moving about, every single one of them looking like they stepped out of a magazine. You couldn't help but wonder how this place wasn't packed with customers, especially with all the good-looking men working there.

As your eyes scanned over the array of caffeinated beverages on the menu, you couldn't shake the feeling that you were being stared at. Glancing over, you saw one of the baristas leaned against the wall behind the counter, his dark eyes locked on you, though when you caught him looking, he turned his gaze away and acted as if he didn't get caught. Brushing off the exchange, you directed your eyes back to the menu and continued attempting to figure out what it was you wanted to order. Half the coffees on the menu, you had never even heard of.

"Don't know what to order?" A deep voice inquired, startling you.
You looked to see who the voice belonged to. To your surprise, it was the barista that had been staring at you moments earlier, his sharp yet gentle eyes looking into yours. Your gaze drifted to his name tag.
Yoongi.
"To be honest, I don't even know what half these coffees are." You admitted.
"Personally, I prefer the americano." Yoongi offered up his own preference, glancing up at the menu.
"I've ever tried one before."
"They're very bitter. It's literally just espresso and hot water."
"Ah." Your nose scrunched a bit. "I'm looking for something with a little flavor and preferably not overwhelmingly bitter."
"Ah." He nodded knowingly. "Do you like your coffee to be a bit sweet?"
"Yes I do."
"I suggest the caramel frappe. It's sweet but still has the faint bitterness of coffee."
"I was considering a frappe actually. I've had them at other coffee places."
"You should try ours... if you want."
"Alright. I'll have one."
"Perfect." He gave you the total and you handed over some cash. "One caramel frappe coming right up." He shot you a lopsided grin and got to work.

You went to find a seat, choosing a table closest to the register so you could watch the barista make your coffee. His hair was dark and reached his shoulders, half of it pulled up into a ponytail that sat at the back of his head. Despite his stunning feline-like features and gorgeous locks, his hands were your main focus as he worked, your gaze glued to them, unable to look away. You watched as he carefully measured the ingredients and put them into the blender behind the counter.
Never in your life had you seen such attractive hands. Truthfully, you'd never paid much attention to anyone's hands until now.
Yoongi worked diligently with the utmost focus, making sure everything was just perfect. His strong brows were pulled together in concentration as he poured up the blended coffee drink, topping it with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel syrup before bringing it to you.

"Here you go. One caramel frappe for..." He trailed off while placing the drink down in front of you.
"Y/n." You spoke up, realizing he was waiting for your name.
"Y/n." He smiled, finishing his sentence.
"Thank you."
"No problem." He winked, causing your heart to do a front flip in your chest.
He let out a tiny chuckle of amusement at your reaction as he walked away, leaving you to enjoy your cold coffee beverage.
He's a heartthrob. You thought to yourself dreamily.
If having heart eyes was possible, you would've had them right then and there.

You took a sip of your drink, humming at the sweetness of it, the faint bitter aftertaste of the coffee balancing everything out nicely. Yoongi once again garnered your attention as you noticed the dark-haired barista speaking quietly to a couple of his co-workers behind the counter and discreetly gesturing back towards the direction you were sitting. Your cheeks tingled with warmth when the blonde barista glanced your way, his eyes darting to catch a glimpse of you as Yoongi spoke.
Your gaze averted, moving down to look at the caramel frappe. You were certain the group of three had caught you staring, but you tried to cover it up anyway by taking another sip of your drink.
Lifting your curious eyes, you saw Yoongi looking at you with a small grin of admiration on his face. Your eyes darted back down to the table, studying the wood grain intently and silently hoping he wouldn't approach.

The universe had other plans because less than a minute later, a deep voice spoke from beside your table, causing you to look up.
"How is it?"
"It's good." You responded, trying to ignore your racing heart. "It's really good."
"So would you say Cafe Bangtan's caramel frappe is better than the other places you've had it?"
You pondered his question for a moment, briefly recalling the taste of other blended frappe beverages you had enjoyed elsewhere, nodding after some time. "It's a little better."
"Only a little?" Yoongi grinned.
You chuckled softly, giving a shrug.
"Would you like to go out sometime?"
Yoongi's question nearly made you choke on your frappe and you were unsure you'd heard him correctly. Had he really just asked you out so suddenly?
"What?"
"Would you like to go out sometime?"
"But you don't even know me well."
"That's why I wanna go out." He grinned, trying not to seem nervous, but with the way you responded, he was worried you'd turn him down. "Is that okay with you?"

Silence, albeit brief, was followed by his question as you considered the possibility of going out with an attractive barista whom you only knew by his first name. He was charming and you wanted to get to know him better just as he wanted to get to know you.

"Okay." You nodded, finally giving him the response he was waiting for.
Yoongi tried to hide his excitement, but couldn't stop the gummy grin that broke out across his face. He pulled out a notepad from his apron and wrote something down, tearing the paper from its spiraled wire confines and handing it to you.
"Here's my number. Just let me know when you're free and we can set something up." He smiled softly.
Yoongi then excused himself, saying he needed to get back to work but that he looked forward to hearing from you.
Once he walked away, you were left to stare at the number scribbled on the small piece of paper, planning on texting the dark-haired barista as soon as you got him.
