The cafe had just opened.

5:30 in the morning.

Ready to serve hot coffee/tea and breakfast.

Harry was at the Cafe by 7:00 sharp, sitting in his every day booth, reading the great Gatsby while sipping slowly on his morning tea.

"On the house." The same waitress Harry has every morning smiled as she placed a plate in front of him.

"Biscuits and gravy?" Harry's favorite breakfast.

"Jasmine is here today, we told her you were here and she wanted to buy you breakfast." The waitress smiled.

"Can I speak to her? Thank her myself?" Harry asked the nice red head in front of him.

She smiled and nodded her head. "Of corse, I'll go get her. Enjoy your meal." She smiled lightly before walking away.

Harry didn't eat breakfast usually because Josh would get mad if Harry ate any of his food, the pop tarts were to never be touched- not even by Gemma. And no one was ever allowed to eat Josh's cereals besides his wife of corse- and Gemma got away with eating some of the frosted flakes, but as for Harry- never got away with it.

They didn't have much food in the house anyways, but what ever Harry could eat- he was most likely going to get beaten for if he did.

Sometimes if he had extra money he would stop by the store and grab a banana or an orange before going to school, but for every penny Harry made at the bakery he was putting away for after graduation.

Harry was trying his hardest to get a scholarship to any college he possibly could. The money he was making now was for all the extra things the scholarship wouldn't pay for.

Along with that Harry was saving for a car and rent for the dorm room. He had everything planned out for after senior graduation- he was gonna get out of here.

Hopefully go to UNI, but he wanted to leave so bad he would go to any college that accepted him.

During the summer Harry saved up enough money to buy some school clothes at the end of the summer as well. Along with some school supplies- pens, highlighters, pencils and paper. He used the same binders every year, and he kept them in good condition too.

"Harry!" Jasmine cheered as she approached Harry's booth. He looked up from his plate, swallowing before smiling.

"Jasmine. Good to see you." Harry said. Jasmine took a seat in front of him and smiled wide.

She was a woman in her late 40's who looked like a a woman in her early 30's. And she was so sweet.

"You enjoying breakfast?" She asked, Harry nodded his head quickly.

"Of corse. Biscuits and gravy are my favorite." Harry said while digging his fork into the biscuit and then dipping it into the pool of gravy that surrounded it.

Jasmine knew Harry since Harry was just a couple months old. Anne had hired Jasmine to baby sit Harry while she was at work.

Jasmine was one of Anne's good friends as well, but when Anne and Harry's father got a divorce, Jasmine had told Anne that her and Des should share custody because she was at work all the time anyways.

Anne didn't like that idea and she hated it coming from her best friend, so she basically banned Jasmine out of her life.

Anne claimed that Jasmine was siding with her soon to be x-husband and that just made Anne go a little bit more crazy and then she accused Jasmine of sleeping with her husband.
