I Hope You Had A Really Good Time (a pierce the veil fan fic)

Chapter 2

                          *Tori's POV*

Making it to the mall and parking my car by the entrance I soon started walking. A few minutes were left until I had to be at Hot Topic so I stopped by Starbucks and got a mocha cookie crumble (a/n//:those are so good). Sitting down by the window and sipping my drink was all I did with my left over time, when I finished I got up and threw my cup away and walked into the direction of Hot Topic. The mall seemed unusually slow today 'maybe more people would come later on through the day' I thought.

Walking in isn't like it usually is. Being greeted by my co worker Alex, is usual though. She just started working here last month. My boss walked up to me "Victoria I see your on time today." she said with a smirk. "Aren't I always?" I replied with a laugh.

She smiled "Well today is awfully slow so you can fold shirts for now". While nodding I walked over to the all the band shirts and saw that there were a few that needed to be folded. It really bugged me when people tried on the shirts and didn't bother folding them.

"Hey Victoria you know warped tour is starting this week right?" said Alex. While frowned I mumbled a quite yeah. Goimg to Warped Tour was my summer plan but unfortunately I didn't get a ticket. "Are you going?" I asked Alex.

"Hell yeah!" she yelled cheerfully. "What's with the yelling?" laughed Lucy our boss.

"Nothing just talking about Warped." I said with a sad smile. "Hey no need to be sad, there's always next year." she said with a smile.

"I hope." I mumbled and leaned against the counter. 

                           

                    *Derek's POV*

While getting in my car and driving to the mall I couldn't help but get excited to surprise Tori. As I parked my car I noticed there weren't many cars so that meant it would be a slow day at Hot Topic, maybe we could take go to the food court and we could sit down and talk.

When I walked in I saw Tori immediately. "Tori!" I yelled cheerfully. Being me means being loud and cheerful. It's usually to hide the pain and sadness I feel on an everyday basis. "Derek what are you doing here?" she said with a smile while hugging me tightly.

"Just came to see my favorite person in the world." I said with a grin. "Uh Derek Austin Carlile isn't here." she laughed.

"What I thought he was?" I replied in fake shock and laughed. "So why are you here?" she asked in pure curiosity.

"Well my little Tori I have a surprise for you!" I said. "And what is that Der bear?" she questioned using my old nickname she gave me in highschool.

"Well...Igotusticketstowarpedtour!" I said quickly. "WHAT?! Shut up!" she yelled jumping up and down in excitement.

While pulling out the tickets and showing her my proof. She started tearing up "That's one of the sweetest things anyone has done for me Derek". I just smiled and pulled her in for another hug.

                       *Tori's POV*

"Let's go eat or something." I said to Derek. "Sure." he replied. I smiled and walked over to Lucy.

"Hey Luce you guys don't need me do you?" hoping she wouldn't say no I looked at the floor and back at her. "Nah go have fun with Derek. We'll be just fine." she said with a smile. I was grinning like an idiot.

Derek and I locked arms and skipped out like children. We got to the food court and decided on Subway. We both got our sandwiches and sat down. While eating I noticed him staring at me. "What?" I asked while chewing. He laughed at my reply. "Nothing you just seem so happy." he smiled.

"It's because I am all thanks to you. And not to mention we're gonna meet Pierce the Veil!" I said in excitement.
