Chapter 9 (unedited)

*Derek's POV*

I was in my own head while Tori was singing along to the music. Ever since the gas station incident everything was awkward. I just kept thinking about it, the girl that I've liked since highschool probably isn't even into me and gets hit on by millions of other guys. She's everything and I'm nothing. While I was thinking in my head I heard Tori caling me. "What!" I said a little rudely. "I'm sorry" she stuttered.

I didn't mean to yell at her, and I could see the hurt. It hurt me to see her like this, "I'm sorry I didn't mean to yell at you". "It's okay really, you seem to have a lot on your mind. Are you okay?" she asked concerned.

"Yeah, I'm perfectly fine. Don't worry about me, be happy. We'll be at Warped Tour soon" I said and fake smiled. Somehow she believed me, I kept driving until we saw a hotel. "We should stay here tonight because it's quite late" I said to Tori.

"Yeah I'm pretty tired" she smiled while rubbing her eyes, little did she know she smeared her makeup during the process of rubbing her eyes . Of course I grabbed a tissue and wiped it off while laughing. "What" Tori asked. I just shook my head at her while laughing.

We got our of my car and took our bags with us. After checking in we went up to our room, luckily there were two beds. I decided to lie down on the bed while Tori took a shower. "Well I have nothing to do" I thought out loud. After some thinking I grabbed my phone and played some music.

*Tori's POV*

I decided to shower since we were in the car for a while. Suddenly a thought bombarded my head, why did Derek look so hurt? He met Pierce the Veil, I would've imagined him to be five thousand times happier. After trying to figure it out my head started to hirt a little. So I got out of the shower and blow dryed my hair, dressing myself in fresh clothes I walked out of the bathroom and almost died from the sight in front of my eyes. Derek was jumping on the bed while singing like a diseased pig to the music that was blasting very loudly.

I couldn't take it anymore, all of a sudden I burst into laughter. Derek turned around a little embarrassed and started laughing too. Moments like these made me cherish Derek as a friend even more. And that was how our night went jumping around on the mattress while obnoxiously singing to our music which was blaring. All of a sudden I stopped and sat down, tired from all the jumping. Derek sat down next to me and was panting and laughing. In a matter of seconds everything went silent, not a comfortable silence either. It was the type of silence that made you want to walk out of a room because of the tension. Derek tried to get up but he fell and sadly brought me down with him. We were in the most uncomfortable silence and now the most uncomfortable position to be in.

*Derek's POV*

I was trying to get up but I fell and brought Tori down with me. To be honest, this might just be the most uncomfortable moment in my life. She was going to get up when I did the stupidest thing ever.
