Chapter 10

*Derek's POV*

"I have to poop" I yelled while rushing to the bathroom.

Why did I say that? Why did she have to fall on me? At times like this, I questioned my life. Now she probably thinks I'm awkward and disgusting, of course I didn't have to poop, I just had to get out of that room. While walking out of the bathroom I tripped and fell on my face which caused Tori to erupt with laughter.

"You're such a clumsy idiot" Tori giggled out. I frowned a bit from her remark.

"But you're my clumsy idiot" she added on which brought a huge grin onto my face.

The rest of our night was spent just listening to music and talking about random things until we both fell asleep.

*next day*

*TORI'S POV*

I woke up next to my best friend Derek, I was going to go shower but decided to lay down and admire him. How could he like me? He could fall for any girl but why me? While those thoughts ran through my mind I decided it was time to shower. I spent longer than necessary in the shower and got out after hearing Derek bang on the bathroom door yelling at me to hurry because he has to use the bathroom, probably to poop again.

While Derek was in the bathroom I decided to get ready a little bit. By the time I finished Derek was out and all dressed. "Derbear I was thinking that we could eat breakfast and then go shopping" I said in a questioning manner. "I'm down" he replied fist pumping the air. I simply laughed and threw a pillow at his face. Not knowing what I had started I quickly ran out of the room with Derek's keys and my purse with Derek trailing close behind.

"Hey! Fine I'll let you off for now, but when we come back you shall feel my wrath Victoria" he said trying to intimidate me. I simply stuck my tongue out at him and he patted my head while we got in the car.

Derek sat in the passenger seat giving me directions to the closest diner. Occasionally I would see him looking at me from the corner of my eyes. Of course I wasn't going to say anything because it would just make the rest of the drive awkward.

We got to the diner and found a table close to a window. The sun was shining bright and glowed perfectly onto Derek's face. We decided on what to get and when the waitress came to get our order she instantly started flirting with Derek. I rolled my eyes, but I felt something other than annoyance. Was I jealous? Of course I wasn't, I don't like Derek. He's just a very close friend and nothing more. But could I be wrong?

*DEREK'S POV*

I could see a look of annoyance on Tori's face. The waitress wouldn't stop flirting. Finally she wrote down my order but when she asked Tori it seemed Tori was lost in thought. Instead I told the waitress what Tori wanted. While we were waiting for our food I started wondering why Tori seemed so deep in her thoughts. Could it be because of the waitress flirting with me? I mean I did see her roll her eyes, maybe she was jealous? Why would Tori be jelaous? She doesn't like me. But then again feelings change, maybe she does.
