Twenty two

Kellins POV

Sometimes it's nice to sit back and just think about a time when Jaime wasn't in my life. When I could just hang out with who I wanted when I wanted to. No looking over my shoulder or hiding my phone.

When I'm with Vic I start to feel more like that again. Free.

He doesn't mind if I constantly text with Alan or if I tell him I can't hang out because I've had plans with Alan or with his cousins. He respects that.

I have been hanging out with Isabelle and Maria a lot. They usually take me shopping. I don't like it as much as they do, but thats fine by me.

I haven't seen Jaime in at least a week. He had put too much pressure on his leg. He went to the hospital to get the cast removed, but the docter refused to let him walk around any longer. They removed the old cast and made a new scan. After that they put a new cast on his leg and put him in a wheelchair. He also had to stay for at least a day and get back regulary for checkups.

Funny how he is the one getting constantly checked for once.

His parents are constantly fussing over him, they don't care if he wants to see me or not. Lucky for me they don't really care much for me either.

"I win!" Harper cheers while doing her victory dance.

"Yeah, but only because we let you win." Sasha scoffed before getting up and walking towards the kitchen.

"You're just mad because I beat you at monopoly," Harper snickered. "Now hand over that cupcake!"

She ran after Sasha to the kitchen, leaving me and Vic alone in the dimly lit living room.

"Are they always like that?" Vic asks incredously. I nod before leaning my head on his shoulder.

Its been a week or two since Vic first came over for dinner. He's been joining us for dinner almost every night since then. Sasha definitely knows something is up with the two of us, but she doesn't ask questions. But Harper...

"Kellin!" She comes back into the living room with a half eaten cupcake and a face full of icing. "Is Vic your boyfriend now?"

"Ssh Harper, you can't just say something like that," Vic whispers. He motions for to come closer and whispers something in her ear. Harper beamed at him before running off yelling for Sasha.

"What did you tell her?" I question him while he put his arm back around me again.

"Nothing" He smirks at me.

"Fine don't tell me." I get up start putting the gameboard and the pieces back into the box.

"Kellin" He laughs "Come on it's just a little secret between Harper and me"

"Alright, but don't go whining when Mike and I start sharing secrets" I warned him.

"Why does PE always has to be so exhausting" Alan complained after dropping down in the seat besides mine. He put his head on his arms and cosed his eyes "I'm just gonna take a nap, wake me up when lunch is over" He mumbles.

"You sure you wanna sleep trough it?" I laughed at him "Austin is coming with Vic and Lynn."

His head shot up at me. "You couldn't tell me this earlier!" He gasped "I look like shit."

"You look fine" I try to reassure him while Vic sits next to me, Lynn follows soon and takes a seat on my other side.

Vic's hand finds mine under the table and he laces our fingers. I quickly look around to see if anyone noticed, but they're all too busy getting their lunches out of their bags to notice.

"Yeah, don't worry you look nice" Austin chimes in, he takes a seat next to Alan and takes out his lunch.

"T-thank you" Alan stammers, his face turning red. I smirk at him from across the table.

"Are your cousins coming too?" Lynn asks Vic.

"Step aside buggs." Isabelles voice sneers at a group tenth graders. They hasitly step aside to let the racoon-eyed girl and her sparkly pink sidekick through. "Thats more like it" Isabelle says smirking.

"Hey everybody!" Maria greets before hugging everybody. After giving an extremelyy blushing Lynn a hug she sat next to her and started eating her sandwiches.

"Does this answer your question?" Vic laughs at Lynn.

"Answer what question?" Maria chimes in, discarding het nutella sandwiches for a moment.

Lynn starts stuttering some nonsense before Austin stops her. "She was wondering if it would be possible that you'd look even cuter than usual today. Judging by Lynns expression, you do." He smirked at Lynn before eating her last fries.

"Awe thats so sweet!" Maria beams at Lynn while hugging her again. "I think you look very pretty today too!"

I feel kind of sorry for Lynn. As far as we know Maria is just being nice to her. But Lynn doesn't seem like a person to get down over a rejection. She'll move on.

We all laugh at Lynns loss for words before going back to eating and complaining about the schoolsystem.

well kind of....

i cant and i wont promise that i will update regulary in the furute.

i'll try but im super busy with school, work and everthing else... writing has been kind of shoved to the side.

im going to try to update more. moslty because i want this story to be over already!!!! 

but anyway, i hoped you enjoyed this! im almost done with the enxt chapter so i hope i'll get some time to edit and publish it soon.
