POV: Cronus.

I jumped back. He was so sudden with his screaming. I just asked him to speak up. Is that really that big of a deal? I walk back to the living and Kankri just watched me fall into the soft chair.

"H9w did it g9?"
"Bad."
"Was he l9ud?"
"Yes."
"Screaming?"
"Yes..."
Kankri shook his head. He murmured something and went in himself. After a while I heard Karkat yell and Kankri running out of the room.

"He was very mad I see."
"Yes he is. He yelled at me wvithout a wvarning."
"He can 6e... a little 6it cranky..."
"You don't say?"

Kankri also jumped into a chair.

"I didn't kn9w y9u c9uld draw s9 well."

"Oh, it's nothing much."

"Y9u have talent."
"I havwe no talents."
"6ullshit! I SAW WITH MY 9WN TW9 EYES THAT Y9U CAN DRAW EXCEPTI9NALLY WELL!"

"I can't draw..."

"Alright. What y9u want. As y9ur servant it is my legal resp9nsebility t9 agree 9n everything y9u say."
"Don't do it Kankri. That's lowv."
"Like me, sir."
"Leavwe. You're done for the day. Take that bratty boy wvith you."
"Certainly, sir."

I watched as he left the room, grin plastered to his face. I can't wait until we don't have to live together anymore. I will be able to smoke and do whatever I want whenever I want! I marched to my room, because I fucking can, and grabbed my pack of cigarettes and a lighter. I went up the balcony and lighted one. But it was bad timing on my part. Kankri walked in.

"Cr9nus, I want t9 ap9l... Is that a cigarette?!"
"Yes. Wvhy?"
"Th9se can kill y9u!"
"I am vwery awvare. Thanks."
"Idi9t! Why d9 y9u want t9 die? Y9u have the m9st perfect c9ndti9ns t9 live under after the pr9ject! And y9u want t9 thr9ww away y9ur life like that?
Y9u are the fucking w9rst. I can think 9f a few milli9n reas9ns why I w9uld like t9 die. Am I dead yet? N9! 6ecause I have t9 serve shitty high6l99d's like y9u. Y9u've g9t n9 idea h9w much y9u actually disgust me. I n9w kind 9f h9pe y9u die 6ecause 9f the ir9ny 9f it all. If y9u can't care whether y9u live 9r die is n9t my pr96lem anym9re. I'm leaving. D9n't kn9w where I'm g9ing 6ut me and Karkat will 6e g9ne in an h9ur. Thanks f9r a6s9lutely n9thing."

"Sure, make sure you close the door wvhen you leavwe."
"Assh9le."

And like that, he was gone. I don't care. Why should I? Now I just know he doesn't return my feelings. Yay... victory for me. I put the cigarette out and walk towards the liquor cabinet. I mix a shot consisting of every single drink we, I mean I, have in this house.

I empty the glass in one go and sit down. I feel the alcohol slowly rising to my brain. I hear the faint yell of Karkat when they leave. He probably yelled they were leaving. Nice, now I'm all alone. I wonder where they'll go. I walk to my bedroom. Wait, no, that's understatement. I try to walk to my bedroom and fail spectacularly. I fall down in the hall and if there was a sound, it would be blurry.
