For the team

            It was the early in the morning where I was preparing breakfast for a certain person who was relaxing in the tub.

            Me: Haruuuuu! ~ Hurry up or you won’t have enough time for breakfast!

            But then I heard the back door jiggle and was being fumbled. I knew it was Makoto so I wasn’t worried. He was one of those few people who knew the back door was unlocked thanks to Haru and his obsession with the tub.

            Mako: Ah good morning Shi-chan.

            Me: Good Morning Mako-chan would you like anything to eat?

            Mako: No, I’m alright.

            I nodded and finished making breakfast for the idiot with the obsession. I waited, and waited until I got tired and I marched to the bathroom and barged in. I quickly covered by eyes after what I saw and I quickly ran back out, shutting the door behind me nearly tripping over my own feet.

            I sat by the wall uncovering my eyes, breathing heavily, and with a red face; Haru didn’t have his swimming trunks on… GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I slapped by cheeks and went back downstairs. I went to get my jacket and scarf from the closet as well as Haru’s because he is going to be running late. I just sat by the doorstep playing games on my phone as Makoto rushed Haru like a mother scolding her son.

            Me: Makoto-okaa-san, Haru-chan is never going hurry up if you are all up in his face!

            Makoto just looks at me and smiles. He then walks towards me to see what I was doing.

            Makoto: Hey, Shi-chan what game are you playing?

            Me: Well, it’s a game that Rei and Nagisa came up with. It’s called Mamakoto.

            Makoto just chuckles and watches me play the game and laughs as I get frustrated over it.

            Haru interrupts us by telling us that it was time to leave. We quickly ran to the bus stop where Nagisa and Rei were waiting for us.

            We arrived at Samezuka’s academy just in time and quickly got changed. Today was freestyle relay race between the two schools.

            ???: Oi, Shi… are you participating in today’s joint practice?

            I turn around to see Rin standing behind me.

            Me: I have to. After all, I am part of the Iwatobi Swimming team after all. It’s a must.

            Rin: Tch. You want to race no matter what, don’t you?

            Me: Every opportunity I get.

            Mikoshiba: Let her in the relay. It’s fine. Someone will just have to swim an extra lap. ALRIGHT LET’S START!

            First was Makoto swam, then Nagisa, Rei, Haru, and then myself. I raced against some boy from Samezuka. Even though we lost, I knew I beat the guy next to me.

            I sighed and listened to Mikoshiba-kun talk as I placed my legs in the water.

            Mikoshiba: Matsuoka! You are captain…* smiles* take care of my team. AND DON’T YOU EVER THINK THAT YOU CAN ALL SLACK OFF! THERE WILL BE A SCARY FIRST YEAR COMING HERE NEXT YEAR SO YOU BETTER ALL BE PREPARED! *evil laughs*
