Ringo's pov
Summer looked down. I picked up both her wrists. I studied her scars. I saw a silent tear run down her face. "I can't believe what I've done to myself, Richard," She whispered. I sighed and pulled out my wrist. I took the water from her bedside table and put some on my wrists.
The makeup came off and visible, some still fresh, scars revealed themselves. I heard Summer let out a cry. I held her close to me as a few tears made their way down my face and onto Summer's hair. "What have we done to ourselves," I asked quietly. Summer replied with a jagged sob. She pulled my wrists and held them. I felt the salt of her tears stinging my cuts, but I didn't say anything.
"Richard, I just want to make it go away," Summer whispered. "Please don't go," I said quietly. "I'll miss you." Summer looked at me in the eyes. Her beautiful green eyes were amazing. "Can't I just die," She asked. I shook my head. "I don't want you to leave me alone."
"I'm so scared, Richard," Summer cried, barely audible. "I know, love," I said, holding her close. "I know."
I'm going to make an author's note. This was an actual conversation between me and my best friend. I altered it a bit though, as we aren't, and never will become, lovers. And my best friend never cut. And I'm sad to say, I was Summer in this situation. I like to base Summer upon myself. So, please please please, don't take my work as this is real stuff that happened. I'll make a note of it each time I do a real life experience chapter. But, I'm a lot better now!! Thanks for reading!!!
