Ringo's pov
"Oh my God," I thought, holding Summer in my arms. "Why did she use it?" She was crying on the bathroom floor. "Baby," I asked. "Y-yes," She answered. I breathed. Finally a real answer. "Can you walk back to bed?" I stood up and held my hand out to her. She tried but fell into my arms.
"I'll just carry you, love," I told her. She nodded. I carefully picked her up and walked to her bed. I laid her down and I followed. "I'm sorry, Richard," Summer said. I pulled her close to me. I kissed her forehead. I wasn't mad, disappointed, or angry at her. I was just a little sad. "It's alright, Summer," I said. "Are you feeling better now?"
Summer gave me a curt nod. I let out a breath. "Please don't do it again," I said. "Please?" She nodded and buried her face in my chest. I stroked her hair and looked at my scars. I needed to cover them up again. John would kill me. He hated people cutting and things like that.
The newest one I made when Summer came and John was trying to get her. I wanted this girl. I needed this girl. She's mine now though.

John's pov
I couldn't believe what I saw. I slid against Summer's bedroom door and put my head on my knees. Why had she used coke? I could tell her and Ringo had shagged by the way he was there with her in his robe and her in her underwear and bra.
I knocked on the door and heard Ringo's voice say, "Come in." I walked in in just my trousers and sat on the edge of the bed. "How is she feeling, Rings," I asked him. Summer was curled up against Ringo's chest, asleep. "She's a lot better," Ringo replied. I shook my head.
"Why did she do it," I asked. "She told me she wanted an escape from life," Ringo replied. I put a hand on my bare chest. I heard Summer shift. Ringo leaned over and kissed her forehead. I had no idea her depression was this bad.
Ringo shifted and I saw scars on both his wrist. "No," I whispered softly. Ringo looked at me and he knew I saw them. He looked down.
