Author's Note:

John's pov
I leaned over and gasped. I ran to the bathroom and heaved up all my food that I had eaten for the day. I heard someone walk in and shut the door. I felt a hand on my shoulder. I knew who it was I wretched in the toilet for a while.
I sat up and leaned against the wall. George sat down beside me. "H-he can't leave, George," I whispered, barely holding back tears. "We don't know, yet," George reassured me. "Oh, come off it, George," I screamed, tears coming out violently.
"He's going to die, the band's going to disband, and I'm going to go to hell for murder," I screamed, sobbing. George didn't say anything, but pulled me into his arms. "I killed him," I sobbed. George just stroked my hair. "Let it out, lad, just let it out," He whispered.
And I did so. George stayed with me in that bathroom for three hours. By the time I stopped crying and screaming, it was daylight. I wanted to sleep. George helped me get up and helped me to my bed.
George pulled the covers up to my chest. He turned to leave. I grabbed his wrist and looked at him with pleading eyes. "Please don't leave me alone," I whimpered. "T-they all do." George sighed and sat on my bed.
George started singing softly.
Sunrise doesn't last all morning
A cloudburst doesn't last all day
Seems my love is up and has left you with no warning
It's not always going to be this grey
All things must pass
All things must pass away
Sunset doesn't last all evening
A mind can blow those clouds away
After all this, my love is up and must be leaving
It's not always going to be this grey
All things must pass
All things must pass away
All things must pass
None of life's strings can last
So, I must be on my way
And face another day
Now the darkness only stays the night-time
In the morning it will fade away
Daylight is good at arriving at the right time
It's not always going to be this grey
All things must pass
All things must pass away
All things must pass
All things must pass away
I looked at George once he finished the song. "That was beautiful, George," I whispered groggyily. "Shh," George whispered, pushing the hair back out of m y face. "Go to sleep." And so I did.
