Ch.8

I sat up from bed and grabbed my phone. It was 8:73 in the morning it was also my dad Fred Andrews birthday.

I jumped out of my bed that looked like this.

And tip toed to Archie's room which was across the hall. "Archie" I whispered as I shook him awake. He rolled over to face me. "What" he mumbled. "It's dads birthday get up I'm gonna cook breakfast" I smiled and walked back to my room.

I threw on some clothes.

I ran downstairs to start breakfast when Archie came down too. "Stop stop stop" He quickly said.
"What" I asked confused. "You always cook for him every year let's go to Pops I'll pay"

I look at Archie. "No Arch its a family tradition"

"We'll do it next year come on Cher" He finally convenient me. "Fine Fine" I threw my hands up in defeat. "But you're not going on that you go change and I'll wake up dad" I smiled and headed to our dads room upstairs.

•At Pops•
We walked into Pops and sat at our normal booth. "I'm gonna go tell Pop that it's dads birthday" I smiled and walked over to the front.

After I told Pop I came back and sat down when I saw Toni outside. "Dad I'll be right back I'm gonna go say hi to someone" I smiled and got up. "I'm gonna go wash my hands" Archie said and walked away.

"Hurry back I'm not gonna share my birthday sundae" He laughed as I headed out the door.

"Love you too" I smiled and walked out the door. I saw Toni and ran over to her . "Hi T.T" I smiled. "T.T?" She laughed.

"It's your Initials" She looked at me and smiled. "Okay than you're C.A" She laughed. I cringed at the nickname. "Let's try something else" I laughed. She paused with a thinking face on. "How about C-" But she was caught off by a noise it sounded like a gunshot.

I turned to Toni and looked at the entrance. We saw a man with a black hood run out of Pops and we ran in Pops after him. I walked in and saw my dad and Archie on the ground both covered in blood my dad was unconscious and my brother was sobbing.

"Dad!" I screamed Archie turned to me. "CALL SOMEONE" He screamed. I froze I couldn't move. Toni pulled out her phone and dialed 911. "They won't be here for another 30 minuets" Toni yelled.

Archie picked up my dad and grabbed me by my arm and started my dads truck. "Hold on Cheryl" Archie started the car and drove to the hospital when we arrived we swung my dads arms around our necks and ran inside the hospital.

"Wait what happened" a nurse yelled."HES BEEN SHOT" Archie screamed. They took my dad behind doors and shut us out.

I tried to chase them but Archie grabbed me and pulled me into a hug. I couldn't catch a breath I was to busy crying. "Shh." Archie made out threw his tears. "He's. He's gonna be okay" He hugged me tighter.

•Later•
Archie called Betty and Jughead to come down to the hospital to wait with us. When Betty got there she was with Veronica. And when Jughead got there she was with (y:n) and Toni.

As soon as Toni walked in I jumped up and hugged her. When I pulled away we all went into a group hug that Archie pulled us into.

"Andrews" we heard a nurse yell.

Me and Archie looked at each other and then ran to her. "That's us" Archie said hopefully.

She looked at the floor and back at us. "He lost too much blood." She stared blankly at the floor.

"And?!" Archie yelled. "He passed during surgery"

I looked at Archie and ran out of the hospital I ran about 3 miles back to my house. I didn't know what to do my white shoes were covered in red blood and the same with my sweater.

I hoped in the shower and threw on sweatpants.

After I got out the shower I heard a car pull into the drive way I peeked out of my window and saw Archie get out of our dads truck covered in blood walking to the house with Toni.

I ran downstairs as he opened the door I stood in front of him and slapped him across the face and started beating on his chest.

Toni ran up to me and pulled me off I had tears running down my face I was at my breaking point.

"YOU.YOU DID THIS I DIDNT WANT TO GO TO POPS BUT YOU MADE US I SAID NO" I screamed as loud as I could.

Archie stood there and whipped a tear from his face and stormed upstairs. I got out of Toni's hold and followed him. "NOW HES DEAD ARCHIE"

Archie stopped and looked at me. "I'm sorry Cheryl" a tear fell from his eye. I stood there for a moment and hugged him.

"We'll get through this tho okay?"
I looked up at Archie."Okay" I didn't want to but I said it
