"I don't understand" Kali confessed to George. George internally sighed, he didn't want to hurt her feelings but this is what Amaré suggested. "I thought you had feelings for me, you're just like how everyone says you are" Kali screamed. "No no! I promise you I'm not, I just-" George tried to explain. "Save it" Kali said leaving his room. George took a deep sigh and interally scolded himself.
Annabel cried that night in the arms of her truest friend Rena Devi. "What if I caught typhus Rena? Just like my parents and my brother" The scared girl whispered to the Indian heir. Rena was truly worried for her friend, Annabel had been catching fevers and passing out during lessons. She's been straching her pale skin so hard that her skin was no longer soft, but flakey and cracked. "I'm sure its just the weather Anna, you came all the way from England to France!" Rena assured her. Annabel sat up and wiped her tears from her warm face from the drifting fever. "Should I go to a healer? Just in case?" Annabel asked. "Of course" Rena said running her friends warm forehead. There was a sudden knock at the door that startled both girls. "Come in!" Annabel weakly said. There stood the Queen of France, Leroi Bourbon, Mother of Louis and Marie. The two girls suddenly stood up and bowed respectively to the beautiful queen.
"I heard you were not feeling well Annabel" Leroi said in a soft but caring voice. Annabel simply nodded as if she was in shame. "Don't be shameful my child, its natural. My son Louis has told me about your falling out's during lessons and I decided to take matters into my own hands. I've scheduled you a private meeting with our finest healer" Leroi assured Annabel. Leroi Bourbon was known to be a kind and gracious woman. She had been French born herself in Normandy. Her original name was Leroi Franciose of Normandy and fell in love with Francis Bourbon resulting in the marriage and creation of Marie and Louis. However, the rumors about the Portuguese king and Leroi still flourished. The two were to be married but Leroi found her love with Léo to be deeply emotional. She married Léo instead but kept a close eye on Carlos Braganza, Alfonso's father. "Thank you my Lady!" Annabel softly said in great thanks. "You're truly a great and kind person" Rena remarked. The queen simply smiled and excused herself from the room. Leaving a very happy Annabel and a very content Rena.
