"Is this Kim Taehyung?"
Taehyung nodded into the phone but then remembered that the person on the other end of the phone couldn't see them, "Yes this is him."
"Ah great! Emo boy!" the man on the other end chuckled.
Taehyung was a bit confused, "Huh?"
"You're the one that auditioned with the glasses and the hair down right?" the man on the other end asked.
"Yeah..." it took a moment to realize what the man was referring to. The auditions that he had taken before he met Inna again.
"Yeah so after a long time of thinking, we've decided to give you the role!"
Taehyung's heart literally stopped. He was frozen with his eyes wide. He didn't think that he'd ever get the role.
It had been over a month. But then again, they said they would have contacted him in over a month.
And here it was. The phone call that he had long given up on.
"Stop by our studio again. We'll give you the script and we'll talk about our traveling schedule after you've signed the contract of course."
Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows, "Traveling schedule?" he asked into the phone.
"Yeah! The film takes place in Mexico and Japan. We'll be in Japan for most of the filmmaking but we'll be going to Mexico first to get some scenes out of the way." the man said excitedly over the phone.
Taehyung nodded in understanding, "Okay. Um...when do I come over?" he asked. He thought he was sounding a bit too annoying but he had many unanswered questions floating in his mind.
"Is 2:30 good enough for you? I know it's in like 10 minutes but we really need to know if you're down to make this film. We can't hold off any more days since we're behind schedule as it is."
"Alright, I'll be right over." Taehyung said goodbye into the phone before hanging up. He went to the bathroom and combed his hair down. He put on his black glasses and checked himself out in the mirror.
He had no idea how he got the role but he was hoping that it was because of his acting and not his looks. He needed the world to know that he was more than just a pretty face.
