Falling Flowers

Destination

Slyvester's POV
We've been traveling in this capsule for eleven full moons since the pit stop, so thirteen full moons total. Ebonine and I have gotten closer, and Autumn is now 7. We've been told that we'll arrive at the final destination in the morn.
"Slyvester, I'm worried. What do they even need us for? No one knows what happens once you've been chosen." Ebie says, her eyes seem to tremble.
"Ebie, I know it's scary going into the unknowns but no matter what happens I am right beside you. I love you Ebonine." I reply, wiping a stray tear from Ebie's cheek.
"Thank you Slyvester, I love you too." Ebonine replies, then ahe hugs me.
"Everyone proceed to the front of the capsule. We have reached the destination ahead of schedule. I repeat, Everyone proceed to the front of the capsule!" The pilot says over the overhead.
I take Ebie's hand then regroup with Dagger, Keeper, and Autumn. We make are way to the front of the capsule, and near the exit we are told to keep are heads down and not ask questions. We are put in a single file line and told to follow the pilot. We are being escorted by men with guns, but they aren't like us.
We are barely down the ramp when Lily looks up, she looks at one of the gunmen.
"Where are we going?" She asks, clearly forgetting about our instructions.
The man turns to her, he gives her a nasty look. The man grabs her by one of her flowers and pulls her out of the line. He takes her a short distance and shoots her. I cover Autumn's ears. Everyone keeps moving. I hear Ebonine sniffle, she had gotten really close to Lily. We walk for what seems like hours, then at a crudely made building they file us into a backdoor.
We all get put into one room with ten beds, although there are now only nine of us. Dagger and Keeper have been very quiet for the last few days, Ebonine and I have decided that next time the chance comes around we'll tie the knot. One of Autumn's flowers are wilting, and she is weaker now than when we started the journey. I think the stress of not knowing what's going to happen and being away from home has taken a real toll on her.
"Slyvester, Ebonine, Autumn, come here." Dagger says waving us over to there selected bed.
"So now you talk to us." I say teasingly.
"Yeah sorry we've been so distant but we were waiting till we were sure. Keeper is expecting." Dagger replies blushing.
"Oh My Seedling!" Ebie exclaims, then she hugs the couple.
"Wow bro, you two are going to be parents." I reply smiling at the two.
The door of the room violently swings open, a man walks in and approaches us, he takes Autumn's arm and starts dragging her out of the room, Ebonine is about to yell but I hold her back not wanting to lose her like we lost Lily. The door slams shut and they are gone. Ebie crumbles to the floor, sobbing.
"She'll be okay. Shes strong and brave." I says trying to reassure her.
Oh what are they going to do to her.
