Chapter 3: The Journey Begins Now

Chapter 3

~Lilly's POV~

All round me, people were screaming and shoving trying to get a grip on the situation. I was just silent, as I was lost in thought.

"Trapped. We are all trapped in this horrible deadly dreamland...." I quietly whispered. I looked down at my hands, not surprised to see I was trembling as if I was a newborn puppy or kitten. What did surprise me was someone grabbing my hand and yanking me toward the exit. I looked up with an expressionless face to see Kirito pulling Joy and Klein away from the crowd, and Joy pulling me.

We finally made it out of the crowd when Kirito asked, " Would you guys like to come with me? We could go to the next village and get lots of drops and XP." (A\N XP is experience, I know not all the people who read this are gamers or watched SAO) It would be a good idea....

"I can't. I have to go find and stick with my buddies; we all waited in line for this game together! I can't leave them behind," Klein began to walk away. "Hey, stay alive, OK?" Joy and I smiled at him and promised we weren't going down easily.

Klein was out of sight by the time Kirito looked at us and repeated his question. Joy's reply surprised me though, "Sure! We would love to come with you; We do have friends, but they would of course team up and are just as strong, if not stronger, as Ocean and I." He looked at me, but I just shrugged. Joy definitely had a point; Opal, Will, Gabe, and Sasha are all incredibly strong, and of course they would team up. Hmmm, I am going to keep an eye out for a guild made by them; it would definitely make sense for all of us to make a guild, as we are all best friends.

"Of course I will come along!" I smiled cheerfully. "Joy, we are going to have to keep an eye out for our friends' guild; it would make sense that Opal, Sasha, Will, and Gabe would make a guild." She nodded and we turned back to Kirito.

"Are you ready?" Kirito asked both of us.

Joy shrugged and said, "Ready as I will ever be."

I jumped up and down, "Yeah! Let's get on this journey!!!" Both Kirito and Joy look at me with an expression that says 'what...just happened....'. I giggled, grabbed their hands, and began to drag them behind me. (A/N: Joy/Lizzy would have actually facepalmed very hard at that moment..... It has happened before XD)

Time Skip!! It is about a day or two later.

"Hey guys, do you hear that?" I looked around for the source of the noise. I hope it isn't another monster; we are all tired and have a lowish health from fighting monsters for so long.

Lizzy sighed then plopped down onto the group, "No, and I don't care as long as it leaves us alone. I am extremely exhausted from fighting that large pack of demon wolves.

I sit down next to Lizzy and take out some food, "I am famished; you guys want something to eat?" I offer food to Kirito and Lizzy. Both if them shake their heads and take out their own food.

"We are getting close to the next village, at the most, half a day of walking, but is if we run into a lot of monsters again. So, what do you guys think of this crazy death game now that you see what it is like to battle almost nonstop?" Kirito spoke as he gave us all some of his cream.

I just shrugged, but Joy's reply was almost comical, "Well, besides being in a game where a choice could end your life, fun I guess, but I really hate all the stupid mobs! They won't stop coming!!! It is so annoying!!"

Whosh,whosh

This time we all hear the same noise and before we can react, about 20 men in tattered armor surround us. "Are you players Beta testers?"

Cliffhanger!!!!! Well, I guess it could be a cliffhanger, but one of my friends gave me a little help with this chapter and the next one, so he knows exactly what happens. (Don't you dare spoil it!!! :P) Sorry I haven't been posting much on here or YouTube; I have been very busy. First I was on vacation, then the camp I am attending started this week, and soon school starts!!! Noooooooo!!! Plus, everyone in my family is sick but me, so I have to take care of them. Yippy.

Camp is amazing though!!! The course I am taking this summer is RPG Design with Torchlight II. I LOVE IT. If anyone who is reading this plays Torchlight II and has internet, please tell me and we can play together after camp is finished, as all attendees are getting a free copy.

I will try to get the chapters out on time, but as you can tell me life is great, but kinda crazy right now, sooo yeah..... Sorry for any later updates!!!
