|The Recover|

I woke up to an odd feeling that I didn't think I would feel again. I felt strong, not weak and starved, but strong and warm. I opened my eyes only to find four people staring back down at me.

The second I opened my eyes I wanted to close them again. I curled up into a ball and turned to my side with a grunt. My head rested on the table. My cheek forming a pool of fat where it rested.

"Wait, before you go to bed. How are you feeling, mo ghaol?" Sylvester crouched down to the floor trying to meet eye contact with me.

"Better." I moaned out. "Much better, thanks," I said opening my eyes slightly to see beautiful yellow eyes that I have gotten used too.

"Wake me up in a few hours so I can start training," I said, knowing I would claw the person who decided to wake me. "Not with your foot." Sly scolded.

"Alright, goodnight kitty cat," I mumbled closing my eyes again. The last thing I heard was him scoffing.

  "I'm a dog."

He lied.

I didn't know what time it was. Though due to the color of the sky outside my window to my right, it was sometime in the middle of the night. I sat up in my bed and turned to the window.

I groaned at the soreness I felt in every part of my body. I leaned against the wooden bed frame. I sighed and watched the snow fall outside. I watch the houses still admitting smoke from their stone chimneys. I looked down at the fuzzy covers that were on top of me. I slid my hand under the sheets to feel the soft touch of whatever fur was on me. The color of the fur was brown with black marks. I could assume it was a deer due to the little white spots that looked like paint splotches.

I must have been awake for only a few minutes before there was a knock on my door. "Come in," I said to the door. My voice echoed in my empty room. I didn't realize how dull it was until now.

Seconds later the door handle turned and opened up to the gorgeous male, Sylvester.

"I heard you wake." He said walking over to my bed. He walked with an aura of purity, it didn't scare me. No, it wasn't the feeling of 'be scared'. It was more of a warning. A simple, 'don't fuck with me' vibe.

"Heard me wake?" I said raising a brow. He only shook his head like he didn't want to explain how he, 'heard me wake'.

He walked to the edge of my bed before sitting on top of it. He looked over in my direction. "You remember when you arrived?" He said to me.

I gave a subtle nod of my head. "Why does it matter?" I said dully, my voice was scratchy.

"It's been four days, seems like you were tired." He said, his smile the only visible thing about him besides his dazzling eyes.
