"Get out of my way, you stupid nerd! I'll kill you!" Katsuki Bakugou shouted when he spotted Izuku standing in front of the doors of U.A.
"A-Ah! Kacchan!" Izuku whimpered and immediately stepped out of the way. Despite being around the League of Villains for a whole ten months, he was still quite worried about his own safety when Katsuki was around. As Katsuki continued to walk past him, Izuku spotted a short brown-haired girl nearby with a painfully obvious nervous smile. She had decently sized pink spots on each of her cheeks that stood out against her slightly pale skin. Izuku didn't acknowledge her as he sighed heavily, following Kacchan into the U.A. building.

Izuku stood in front of Battle Center B, his heart overflowing with anxiety. He had to pass the exam for the League of Villains, his new family, or things will go horribly wrong real fast. He looked down at his hand, clenching it tightly as he thought of what All Might said to him on that day.
"Some villains just can't be beaten without a Quirk. So no, I don't think you can be a hero without a Quirk."
His favorite hero, the person he used to look up to, said that to him. Izuku chuckled to himself, thinking about how All Might would react to the fact that he created a villain just by saying the wrong things.
"Run, run, run, listeners! There are no countdowns in real battles!..." Present Mic shouted and he said more but his loud voice faded into the distance, Izuku already sprinting toward a 1-pointer and a 2-pointer. There weren't enough shadows around for him to activate his Shadow Control Quirk so he activated his other one, sending a lightning bolt hurtling towards the robots from the sky, making them instantly explode. Static crackled in the air around Izuku as he kept his Electricity Quirk activated, sprinting towards more robots.
Everyone was fighting and gaining more points, Izuku included until a loud explosion in the arena was heard nearby. Izuku turned around, only to be met with a humongous zero-pointer. Are the teachers crazy?! He thought to himself as he turned back around, ready to bolt until he heard a feminine cry of pain, causing him to halt. Looking back, he saw a familiar brown-haired girl with her leg under a large piece of debris. He looked back up at the robot, debating whether or not to help. It's either this or risk not making it in U.A. He immediately ran towards her, pushing through the crowd of people running the other direction.
Stepping in front of the large robot, Izuku took the small container of packed ice off his training outfit, popping it open. He threw it at the robot with all of his strength, the ice flying high around it. Activating his Electricity Quirk, he summoned lightning, aiming it directly at the robot. Explosions erupted everywhere on it as it started to fall backward, Izuku activating his Shadow Control Quirk. He moved his hands like a conductor, moving the shadows under the robot to slow its fall and making sure its damage is kept at a minimum.

"Uh, that was difficult..." Izuku mumbled to himself as he stumbled out of U.A. in an exhausted state. "If I had known they were going to use robots for the entrance exam, I would've told Shigaraki or Takahashi so I could train with something similar. Then again, my goal would be to destroy the robot and I don't think we could keep on providing something like that for me. But why would they use robots? For some people, that could be too easy. Besides, aren't we supposed to be heroes? Well, they are, not me. Maybe-!" Izuku cut himself off, slamming his hands over his mouth in panicked embarrassment. Do I still really do that? He thought to himself, shaking his head side to side before continuing his walk back to the hideout.
Izuku turned into a dark alleyway, located a few miles from U.A., and knocked on the brick wall. Two knocks, pause, one knock, pause, two knocks. He remembered, performing the combination and reddening his knuckles. The brick wall first shivered, then shimmered, before being covered in smokey obsidian purple. He walked through it lazily, his stomach churning and his hands shaking as his soul tried to catch up with his body.
"Thanks, Kurogiri..." He mumbled, rubbing his temple to try and calm his headache.
"How did the exam go?" Kurogiri asked as he cleaned a shot-glass skillfully.
"Pretty good, I got more than enough points to pass," Izuku replied briefly before asking a long-pondered question. "Do I have to be in the hero department or at least in U.A.?"
"Preferably in the hero department but if you can't, then we'll work with what we get," Kurogiri answered as he put away the glass he was cleaning. "Also, I need to inject the formula into you."
"Why do I even need to take it?" Izuku grumbled as he sat down at the bar and pulled up his sleeve, laying his bare skin on the counter. "There's nothing wrong with me."
"We've just been seeing you act a little...not okay. This will help you." Kurogiri said cryptically as he took a syringe out of the mini-fridge and a small bottle of a strange clear thick liquid. Sticking the needle inside the top of the bottle, he sucked the liquid into the syringe and flicked it, a small drop of it spilling out. He stuck the syringe into the skin of Izuku's inner elbow and slowly pushed the liquid into his bloodstream. Izuku hissed through gritted teeth, feeling as if some sort of acid was injected into his body as Kurogiri pulled out the syringe and cleaned it, put it back in the mini-fridge alongside the small glass bottle.
Izuku pulled back and gripped his arm tightly, the pain growing fiercer with each passing second. "What the hell did you give me?" He groaned in pain as his head started to feel fuzzy and hazy as if someone was trying to strangle him.
"Is it really having this bad of a result?! I need to tell Shigaraki." It sounded like Kurogiri said something more but Izuku's mind couldn't register it, his vision slowly growing black and covered in colorful dots. He felt himself falling and when he landed, he almost didn't feel it. It was like his mind was covered in fluffy wool and wouldn't work properly. He felt liquid oozing from somewhere on his body but he couldn't care less as his mind was finally enveloped in darkness and he fell unconscious.
"Your mind is dark..." An almost familiar voice rang sharply in Izuku's head. "It's filled with such horrid things, even I am almost afraid to continue searching. But, it's in the back of your mind, blocked by iron defenses, almost as if it was designed not to fall."
A long pause echoed in Izuku's head before a sharp pain shot through his veins. "Luckily, I know just how to break through."
Flashes of blood, gore, bones, limbs, and so much more awful and disgusting things filled his vision. It would've made anyone barf up their last meal, but to Izuku, it looked almost appealing to him. He almost wanted to see it in real life, to feel it with his own fingers, to smell the metallic blood. He actually could if he wanted to, he would just need to wake up.
