I woke up, snorted a little and looked around. The whole class was working on their test, or as they like to call it, the G.O.A.T, or the Generated Occupation Aptitude Test, but to be honest, I think it's bullshit. It predicts what occupation you'll have by judging your answers in the test, while most of them were stupid. But I haven't explained who I am or what I'm doing. My name is Mikayl and I've lived in this iron tomb since my birth, which was 16 years ago. And by iron tomb, I meant Vault 2, a huge underground facility that could store either a town sized population or a small city, just like the other hundreds of Vaults. I live with my stepmom, and she's half the reason why I want to leave this godforsaken place, but the other reason is to find my mum and dad. And people say to me " But you're parents are dead mate, get over it.", but I know they are still alive. But anyway back to the present. I felt a sharp point hit the back of my head. I turned to see Mitch and his two friends, Thomas and Patrick, making crappy paper aeroplanes, which were actually their tests, and tossed them around the dim lighted room. Suddenly, a loud ringing sound came from the intercom, which sounds the end of class. I guess that's what old school bells used to sound like, before the Great War occurred, which is why we're in this Vault. We all got up and left the room, but before I left, I could hear my teacher, Mr Ronald called my name in his strong, husky voice. "Mikayl, come over here please, I need to talk". I turned around and cursed under my breath a little. "Great", I thought, another lecture.
