There was static. I was disappointed. I was about to eject it when a sound emitted out of it. It sounded familiar. Then I remembered, it sounded like morse code. I was taught about in class, but unfortunately, like always, I wasn't paying much attention. I turned to leave and research in my quarters when a figure cut out the light in the doorway. "What are you doing in here", said a demanding voice. It sounded like The Overseer. "Shit, what do I say?" I thought in my head. "Well?". "I heard this office was my Dads" , I said with hesitation. He puffed and left. "That was weird". I hobbled with haste back to my quarters. In my room I had a poster of how to survive a bomb. One of the tips was how to use morse. I started to decipher the holotape and the finished product was quite short. I made a different version of the holotape and slid into my Pipboy 3000 and pressed play. It started with static and went to words. "Mikayl, if you are listening to this tape, then you must listen to my instructions precisely, because I doubt you won't want to leave, am I right?". "Your mother and I have left and I cannot tell you why, but we left you in the care of Beatrice, as you obviously already know". "So that's her name", I said, and I let the tape continue. "If you wish to leave, then you must listen". "I've left a screwdriver, bobby pins and a program on your Pipboy 3000, that you active by clicking in the light in the top right corner, which will allow access to a lot of different different software, such as other computers, and the bobby pins and screwdriver are for picking the lock on the door to The Overseer's office which has a terminal which will reveal a secret passage that will lead to your freedom". "Please make haste and always know that I love you". The tape ended.
