Fate? No such thing, it doesn't exist. Only coincidences.

Chaeyoung mopped the floor of Jimin's ward.
It wasn't dusty. But when she moved onto cleaning the tables and shelves, it was so dusty she started sneezing.

While dusting the shelves, she thought about the one year before she got into the accident.

She didn't pay much thought to it, but of course, she was curious.

Then she got to his bedside table.

A similar bracelet caught her eyes.

And, like a moth drawn to a flame, she starts walking towards it.

It looked so similar, practically identical.

She stared at the bracelet, and then back at Jimin.

She was hyperventilating.

This had to mean something, it just had to.

No stranger, who seems familiar, and to add on, has the same identical bracelet as you could be a coincidence.

Chaeyoung was overthinking.

The one year before the crash seemed like a blur to her, almost non-existent. But of course, it all happened.

Chaeyoung finally got home after so much cleaning and wiping, she was exhausted.

It's pretty explainable why she was exhausted. She had been resting for 12 months, so no exercise.

This already felt like a workout to her.

She went to shower and wash up, and got ready for bed.

Night time.

Lights Out

–––————————————————————

"Chaeyoungie"

"What is it _____?"

"I love you"

"____ _____, I love you too"

——————————————————————

Chaeyoung wakes up, panting and sweating. She clutches her chest, where her heart is.

What was that?

She thought.

Yeah, what was that?

Was that a memory?

A dream?

Why was the name blurred though?

Is something keeping her from remembering the person?

I love you?

Chaeyoungie?

She gasps.

Chaeyoungie.

She knew it sounded familiar.

But, why did she remember all these now? She's had no dreams of such for the past month. And now, when she meets this stranger, Park Jimin, who has the same bracelet as her. She remembers something.

This is no coincidence.

This is fate.

And fate brought us here.

Fate led me to you, Park Jimin.

She thought to herself.

Although she hasn't had any memories of them meeting, she felt a connection with him, like she knew him so well, even though they were just strangers, no backstory.

Just strangers.
