What do you mean by 'missing'?
"I hope I will Lisa, I hope I will. And soon, I hope," Chaeyoung said with a gloomy tune, however, a hint of hope was present in it.
She knew it was going to be hard to get those answers, but something just told her Jimin had it.
The next day, she went to work and during her lunch break, she went to visit him again.
"Jimin, my thirst for answers has not been quenched yet. It's like I'm starting to give in to the dehydration, it's driving me insane. I even thought this was a fairytale, a Sleeping Beauty fairytale. I mean what was I thinking? Fairytale? This is real life, there's no such thing," Chaeyoung spoke, and he would listen.
Sleeping Beauty? Fairytale? You're half right.
Except, this isn't Sleeping Beauty's story.
And yes, he's listening.
He had since she started coming to talk to him during her lunch break.
Her voice was like a distant memory to him, as if pleading him to wake up.
Something about her voice triggered something in him.
He used to not want to wake up.
He gave up, long ago.
He wanted to stay in his fantasized reality forever because he couldn't accept his bitter, hard fate.
But now, he was trying to wake up.
Every day he would listen to her angelic voice, it sounded like it was coated in honey as her voice was just so sweet.
Sweet and familiar.
That pulled the last straw.
His eyes opened, and he awakened from his fantasy.
No one was there to pull him and tell him they missed him.
No one was there to console him and tell him it was all going to be okay.
No one, not a single soul, was there for him.
Other than the girl with the voice of an angel who was only there at certain times.
He turned to his bedside table.
There, he saw two bracelets. One saying 'forever', and the other saying 'and always'.
His Cinderella had visited him.
He disconnected all the tubes that were once connected to his lifeless body, back when he wanted to give up and stay in his dreamland forever.
He picked up the bracelet and rushed out.

It was time for Chaeyoung to clean up Jimin's ward.
She entered the ward, anticipating the visit as she could use this chance to speak to him more. However, he was no longer there.
The tubes were littered on the bed or the floor.
There were bits of blood stains due to the way he pulled out the tubes.
It was horrendous.
But of course, an even more horrendous fact was that Jimin was missing.
"Oh no."
Chaeyoung rushed to find Kyulkyung.
"Kyulkyung! Kyulkyung! Jimin's gone!"
"Gone? What do you mean by gone?"
"Missing, he's missing. The tubes are all scattered across the bed and floor, and there are no signs of him!"
Kyulkyung was speechless. She had no words. So, she immediately took action.
She rushed to the nearest phone and dialed the security guards' office.
"Good afternoon, this is Kyulkyung speaking, Jimin, Coma patient of ward 738, has gone missing. I will need your help to check for the recordings since-"
"Chaeyoung when did you last see him?"
"During my lunch break at 12:45"
"Since 12:45 today and check for where he has gone, I'll need help in searching for him as well, thank you," Kyulkyung finished.
"Chaeyoung, we need to go up and clean up his ward in the meantime," kyulkyung said, and then rushed to head up to the now empty ward.
Chaeyoung nodded and followed.
Once they reached the ward, to say Kyulkyung was shocked was an understatement.
She was appalled, to say the least.
But that wasn't what caught Chaeyoung's attention, it was the bedside table.
The empty bedside table.
Not long ago, Jimin and Chaeyoung's identical bracelets sat there.
Chaeyoung had taken hers off while cleaning and forgot it there.
And now it seems like someone else got it.
Not just anyone.
It was Park Jimin.
