Ludicrous? You never know, they might mean something after all.
The three girls exchanged looks of worry.
"Why are you asking us that? What about this Park Jimmy-"
"It's Park Jimin," Lisa corrected.
"Okay okay, Park Jimin. Now anyways, before I was rudely interrupted," Jennie said, glaring at Lisa, "Chaeyoung, why are you asking about him?"
"Is there anything wrong with that?"
"No there isn't, but-"
"Why aren't you telling me about him, you're avoiding my question," Chaeyoung said flatly.
"Chaeng, you have to find this out on your own," Jisoo said.
"Fine, can you all at least listen to what I've got to say about him," Chaeyoung questioned.
"Of course we can, Chaeng," Jennie replied.
"I've met Park Jimin," Chaeyoung pauses, "and I think he might have something to do with my past..." she trailed off.
"Why do you think so?" Lisa asked with a look of doubt.
"Remember this bracelet?" Chaeyoung asks, raising her hand to show the beautiful silver bracelet, with the word 'Forever' engraved on it, "He has an identical one, except, his says 'and always', " she explained.
Jisoo gulped, before speaking up.
"An identical one? It could be a coincidence considering how matching couple bracelets aren't really uncommon these days."
"But think Jisoo, think. The words on his bracelet go with the words on mine."
"Forever and always," Chaeyoung mumbled.
"You know, I'm pretty su-, no scratch that, almost a hundred percent sure he's part of my past, I'm quite sure I knew him from that one year before the crash-"
"No Park Chaeyoung, no you don't. His bracelet and yours are just a coincidence. You don't know him, he doesn't know you. It stays that way, you get it?" Jennie said.
"No, I don't get it! Jennie, I've found what I think to be someone from my past, don't you want me to find out? Don't you want me to be happy?"
"Chaeyoung calm down, you don't even know the guy and you're jumping to conclusions, you guys are stran-"
"Lisa, we might not be strangers, we could be related, and I don't know because I've lost all my memories," Chaeyoung screamed.
"Chaeyoung, you need to calm down, you're letting your imagination take over you. Think clearly Chaeyoung, you have no idea who he is and you think he has something to do with your past. Doesn't it sound a little... crazy?"
"So you think I'm crazy now? Is that what it is? Huh, crazy? Answer me Jisoo," Chaeyoung who seemed unstable at the moment said.
"Chaeyoung, no one said you were crazy! You need to calm down before you lose it. You're letting yourself think about crazy scenarios that only happen in fairytales. Well you need to wake up because this isn't a fairytale, this is real life," Jennie screamed.
"Fairytale... That's it! Fairytales. He's in a coma, isn't he? Maybe if a true love's kiss happens, he'll wake up! Then maybe then, I can ask-"
"Chaeyoung, listen to what you're saying! You're deluding yourself into thinking you're some part of a fairytale-"
"Well maybe it is, Lisa, you never know," Chaeyoung fought.
Jennie sighed.
"Chaeyoung, I just hope you know, jumping to conclusions won't solve this, a true love's kiss isn't going to wake him up. This is not Sleeping Beauty's story, it's yours," Jennie comforted.
Chaeyoung sighed and looked down in disappointment as what she said was such a ludicrous thought.
Sleeping Beauty?
Chaeyoung laughed at herself.
"You're right, I am jumping to meaningless conclusions. Fairytales? Just what was I thinking."
"It's okay Chaeyoung, we get you just need answers. Trust me, you'll get them soon, " Lisa said.
