"It was the prince's entire fault" - Omkara

Gauri Kumari Sharma

I pulled the straps of my knee cap up and buckled it tight enough to hold it to the place as I went to Anaya. "Ready princess" I saw her playing with her favourite doll. "Pli...Plinch.." I chuckled. "Yes princess" I pulled her on my lap as I sat on her bed.. let's go. I stood up taking her in my arms as I started moving towards the door.

"Gauri... Gauri..." I sighed. "Here I am here" I replied to Shivaay standing right here in front of my door. "You don't have to shout every time" he raised a bow at my sentence. "Then what do you expect me to do? Wait till the Ms Queen of England comes down" he said looking at me. Anaya laughed. "Look she also thinks I am right" Shivaay spoke. "As if" I rolled my eyes. "You know what, you should actually start spending time with your wife. Instead of poking your nose here" he sctually needs to stay away. Annika right now needs her the most. She is five months pregnant and right now all she needs the most is her husband.

"Yeh achcha hai. She says go to Gauri and see if she is fine. And you say to stay with her. Main karun toh karun kya? Bahar hi so jaun?" I laughed loud. "You think it's funny? Hell!! I am not allowed in any of the houses" I still laughed. But stopped when glared at me "Okay... okay sorry.. You can stay here" I answered. "Then Anu too will be with me" he insisted. "But..." he cuts me "otherwise I am standing out till you return" he started walking out. "Okay.. Okay... I will leave her with you, but Shivaay, please be extra careful" I asked him. I know he is always careful, but she is my child. "I know and I will always be" he placed his hand on my shoulder.

I started walking towards the door "wait" I heard as I opened it. "Shivay aa gaye naa" I heard Annika. "Yes, yahin hai" I glanced at Shivaay playing with Anaya. "I have to tell you right now this man is not listening anything. Whole day he stays with me. I had to send him here. At least this way he would come out of the house" I chuckled.

"Gauri still the knee cap?" she pointed to my legs. "You know I never pull it off" I answered looking at my legs. "But.. this is not a solution. You can't do this to you" I chuckled humourlessly. "Do this to me? This is a way to hide the imperfection I have in me. People don't respect imperfect people, and you know it" I answered. "But you hate it" I looked at her. "I hate my life too. But I am living it right? You don't always get what you love Annika" she saw my eyes tearing up. "I think I should leave" I was about to leave. "It isn't always that you are deprived of happiness or the one you love Gauri. It comes back to you. Because you deserve it" I smiled at her. "I don't deserve my love" and I walked out.

"I said just do it" I barked over my phone to my manager. He literally needs to learn to do things properly, because every time he does it wrong. I sighed in frustration when I heard my mom coming. "Is everything okay?" was the first thing she asked. "No, I am not able to crack this one. Mom, I don't know but I never failed" she was looking at me. "It's been two years Omkara. Two long years. Leave this attitude of yours understand. I can't ake it any long. No one can" she sighed. "What attitude? I am doing my job" I shrugged. "Job? Is this your job to keep shouting every time? To destroy everthing and everyone that tries to come near you? She cheated you that was her fault. You were not at fault" she placed her hand on my cheek. "Mom, I have work" I left my study only to go to my room.

I saw all the extra material kept aside to be taken off. I went near my bed "Sir, i found this CD. Is it of any work or should I.." I snatched it from his hand. "Take all of it and leave. Don't enter my room unless I call you" he nodded and left. It was a CD with a note on it 'I hope you see it Omkara' and that's it. Nothing else was there.
