After being given a change of clothing into a more Asgardian outfit, Thor takes us on a tour of Asgard.

While Jane has been given a light, golden dress and blue shawl, Thor ensured I was given something more practical, knowing my taste in clothes. Instead, they managed to find me a green tunic and silver breast-plate that I can wear over my black jeggings and boots.

"When you came for me, you knew I was in trouble," Jane says, as Thor takes us to the palace gardens.

"Well Heimdall had lost sight of you," he explains, "you were no longer on Earth."

"Well, how's that possible?"

"The anomoly you spoke of in the factory," I explain. "It must have caused you to leave Earth."

Thor nods in agreement. "I believe you were in between worlds. The Nine Realms travel within Yggdrasil, orbiting Midgard in much the way your planet orbits the sun. Every five thousand years the worlds align perfectly, we call this the Convergence." He takes her hand and shows her by touching his palm to hers. "During this time the boarders between worlds become blurred. It's possible you found one of these points. We are lucky that it remained open. Once the worlds pass out of alignment, the connection is lost." He leans closer and they kiss, while I look awkwardly away.

"I liked the way you explained that," Jane smiles. "What's gonna happen to me?"

"I'll find a way to save you, Jane," Thor assures her.

"Your father said there was..."

"My father doesn't know everything."

"Don't let him hear you say that," a voice says behind us. We turn around and I see a demure woman in a regal gown with her long, golden hair piled on top of her head and secured with a delicate tiara.

"Jane Foster, Sophia Holmes, please meet Frigga, the Queen of Asgard, my mother."

"Hi," Jane says, looking embarrassed.

I bow my head. "Your majesty."

The Queen laughs. "Frigga, please. I hear you left quite the impact on Loki. It's good someone has seen the good in him at last."

"I believe Loki to have been entirely innocent," I tell her. "He was under the control of a man called Thanos."

"He is no man," Frigga replies. "We know Thanos well. If what you say is true, then we have served Loki a great misjustice."

"Which is why a trial is always beneficial," I put in.

Just then, an alarm sounds. "The prisons," Frigga breathes.

"Loki," Thor says.

Frigga unsheathes a sword from one of the near guards and throws it to me, before turning to Thor. "Both of you go, I will look after her."

Thor grabs me and takes off with his hammer. We soar over the city towards another golden building, before Thor sets us down gently outside. As we walk in, everyone stops fighting to look at Thor.

"Return to your cells and no further harm will come to you. You have my word." One of the prisoners punches him in the face, and he growls. "Very well, you don't have my word." Thor punches him back and starts fighting with the other prisoners.

I spot Loki reading quietly in his glass cell despite the noise of the fight, and I make my way over to him, fighting off ten or so creatures who stand between us. As I approach the glass, he looks up, then does a double take.

"What are you doing here?"

"Thor brought me along," I answer. "I'm sorry you ended up in here - I've spoken to Frigga about what happened and I think she believes me. Odin, however, doesn't seem to like me very much."

"There is few he likes," Loki answers. "The green suits you well," he says, referring to my tunic.

"It wasn't intentional," I says, rolling my eyes. Loki grins and returns to his book, then he freezes.

"What's up?" I ask, sensing something wrong.

"Something has passed through into Asgard," Loki says.

My face falls. "The Dark Elves. If they're here, they've come for Jane. Frigga's protecting her."

"They'll kill her," Loki breathes, his eyes full of panic.

"I won't let them," I reply, turning and running back to where I left Thor. I see a glint of gold and head towards it, fighting off several more prisoners. "Thor - it's Frigga. The Dark Elves are here." His eyes widen and we race back towards the prison entrance. Thor grabs my hand and takes a running leap over the side of the prison wall before flying us back over to the palace.

Thor lands on a balcony and we run inside. There are two - what I assume to be - Dark Elves inside already, and one reaches to grab Jane but she disappears.

He turns to Frigga. "Witch!" he cries. "Where is the Aether?"

"I'll never tell," Frigga replies. The other Dark Elf inches his way behind Frigga.

"I believe you," he says. As the Elf behind her goes to stab her in the back, I run forward and slice his head off with considerable ease. He falls to the floor at the same time as Thor shoots a lightning bolt at the other Elf's face, severely scarring it. I help Frigga to her feet as Thor chases after the Dark Elf, but he leaps off the balcony and onto his ship before he can catch him.

"Your highness, are you okay," I ask, checking her over as she stands back up.

"Yes, yes, I'm fine," she says quickly, brushing down her dress. "Thank you, Miss Holmes your your great valour."

"No worries," I reply, my eyes lifting as Odin arrives.

"Frigga!" he says moving forwards and embracing his wife. "You are unharmed?"

"All thanks to Miss Holmes," she says with a smile.

"I am in your debt, Miss Holmes," Odin says. "I believe I did you a great disservice when we met. Who knows what would have happened had you not been here."

"I did only what anyone else would have done," I reply, head bowed. "It's Loki you have to thank for sending us up here."

"Is it, indeed?" Odin replies with a thoughtful frown. "Nevertheless, you have our thanks and your choice of a reward."

"I wish only that Loki is given a full and just trial," I reply. "And that his sentence is decided with the mitigating factors of today's events."

"It will be done," Odin replies. "I only hope your judgement is as good as you claim, Miss Holmes."
