"Happy birthday, Y/n!"
Y/n blushed in embarrassment as everyone cheered loudly. I watched as each member of Aqours brought her a gift and congratulated her.
Today was Y/n's birthday, meaning she was officially nineteen years old. She invited all of Aqours and the siblings to a restaurant to celebrate. Mayu and Dai weren't here yet, but she said that they would be arriving soon.
"Hey, Y/n. If you came to Japan during the winter, while you were still eighteen, shouldn't you have still been in school? During that time you just recently turned eighteen right?" Anchan asked.
Y/n nodded,"Yeah, I should've been, but I knew I wanted to move ahead of time, so I let my school know. I had completed most of the classes I really needed, so all I had to do was take economics and English. I just went ahead and pretty much skipped the year."
"Wow that's impressive," AiAi commented.
"It's nothing really," She chuckled.
"It must've been really stressful for you," Suwawa said.
"Yeah it was, but I'm glad I got past it."
"Y/n!" A voice suddenly boomed.
Everyone jumped in surprise and others in the restaurant looked at the source of the noise.
"Dai...you seriously need to be more quiet."
"Oh sorry."
"Sorry about him," Mayu apologized to the waiter.
After talking to each other for a while, our food finally arrived. I sat between Y/n and Shuka as we ate. We talked and laughed as the restaurant crowded with more customers. We all sang while Y/n smiled happily. Then, she blew out the candles and cut slices of cake for everyone to eat.
"Do you guys wanna go outside and walk around?" Y/n asked after everyone finished.
"It's your day! Don't worry about us. We'll go wherever you want to," Ainya responded.
"If that's the case, then let's go then," She grinned.
When everything was paid for, she grabbed my hand and led me outside. The others followed behind us. I gently squeezed her hand and walked side by side with her. I could hear Anchan and Shuka laughing along with Kinchan. Aikyan and AiAi were messing around, while the third year members were having their own conversation as well. I couldn't be any more happy.

"Did you have a good time?" I asked.
Y/n smiled,"I think I can put this day on the list of the best days of my life."
"I'm glad."
It was already evening. The others had all went home, so we went back to our apartment. She opened the door and let me in first. I removed my shoes, turned on the lights, and took off my coat, hanging it up in the closet. Y/n removed the (f/c) scarf that was wrapped around her neck and folded it neatly.
"Do you want to shower first?" She asked.
I shook my head,"You can go first."
"Alright then," She said as she walked into the bathroom.
I rested on the couch and closed my eyes. My body relaxed and I eventually dozed off.
"Hey Rikako," Y/n said. "Do you want to get married someday?"
I blushed,"Why did ask that all of a sudden? Isn't it a bit soon?"
Y/n chuckled,"I'm not saying right now, but I think I wouldn't mind spending the rest of my life with you."
"I think...I wouldn't mind that either."
"Hey, wake up."
I opened my eyes and found Y/n smiling warmly in front of me. My cheeks grew warm as I was reminded of the small dream I had.
"You know you look cute when you sleep, although it was a little weird when your eyes suddenly opened. I thought you woke up until I remembered that you sleep with your eyes open."
"I swear I closed my eyes," I groaned.
She laughed softly, "Don't worry. I don't mind it. The bathroom's open, so you should take a shower, then we can go to bed."
I nodded and made my way into the bathroom, still a little embarrassed by the dream I had. I turned on the warm water and cleaned up. Afterwards, I dried my hair and brushed my teeth, before heading towards the room where Y/n waited.
"You didn't have to wait for me," I spoke.
"I wanted to."
I smiled and walked over to the bed. I leaned over and planted my lips on hers gently. She happily returned it and cupped my cheek with her warm hand. It made my heart race. It was addicting. It made me feel complete. The kiss slowly became more heated and passionate.
Suddenly, she pulled away. Her cheeks were tainted pink and I could tell mine were as well. Her eyes widened as she tried to catch her breath.
"I'm sorry," She breathed out.
"Me too."
"Goodnight," She whispered as she turned off the lights.
"Goodnight."

"Wait, what happened?" Arisha exclaimed.
"You made out with her and just said goodnight afterwards?" Ainya repeated. "That's disappointing."
"I expected better from you," King shook her head.
"It was the first time that happened. I'm sure the both of us were surprised by it."
"Have you talked to her about it?" Anchan asked.
"No, I haven't," I replied.
"I think you should. I think it's okay to talk about taking the next step. It been almost a year since you first agreed to date her," Aikyan suggested.
"The next step?!"
"I wonder what it's like," Shuka wondered.
"Wait just a minute! The next step?!"
"I mean you can do it whenever you're ready, but she seems like she's going to be your last," AiAi commented.
"They do seem suited for each other," Arisha agreed.
My face was really warm by this point. I hid my face in my hands while the others talked about my love life. They were right, but was I ready for that? Is Y/n ready for that?
I really do love her
