4: Until You Made Me Feel

-First Day of College-
            Ever since the day of the concert, I found myself feeling more comfortable when I talk to Rikako. I was still extremely nervous, but now I was maybe a little less nervous. It was still hard to get used to, but it was definitely getting better.
              Rikako has still been too busy to show me around, but I didn't mind. She has a lot of things to do. She can show me around on her day off or something. Does she get a day off? Okay that was a stupid question.
Shaking away my thoughts, I finally rolled out of my bed and went into the bathroom to prepare for my first day at (u/n). I was so excited yet so nervous at the same time. I still haven't gotten used to living in Japan yet.
After I finished preparing, I left my apartment and got into my car. The drive didn't take very long since I chose an apartment that was nearby.

A long week has past and now it was finally the weekend. It was tiring, but I made some friends who could help me along the way. I always wanted to be a (c/c), so all this work will definitely be worth it in the end.
I laid in my comfortable bed until my phone rang. Without looking at the caller, I picked up.
"Hello?"
"Y/n! How's life in Japan?"
I quickly got up, "Aunt? Life in Japan is great! I met my idol and we're friends now!"
"Really? That's great! Maybe you'll be more than friends..." she teased.
"Aunt! She's probably straight! I'm fine just being her friend..." I frowned.
"Aww, don't be like that. Who knows? Maybe she'll fall for you."
"Yeah right," I looked around the room.
"If you ever need any help, feel free to call me," she offered.
"Thanks aunt. You're the best," I smiled to myself.
"Well, I'll be sleeping now. It's really late over here. Stay safe okay?"
"Okay. Bye aunt!"
Yup I'm not even gonna give her a name. Just "aunt"
I hung up the phone and laid back down in my bed.
What should I do today? Maybe I'll ask Rikako for that tour...
I violently shook my head and rolled around in my bed.
I can't just bother her like this! What if she's busy? Well, it is Sunday...
                I jumped at the sound of my phone ringing again. I quickly grabbed my phone and answered.
                "Hello?"
                "Hello, is this Y/n?" A familiar voice spoke.
                 "Rikako?" I asked.
               "Oh, it is you. Sorry for calling so early," she apologized.
               "Early? It's 9:00 right now."
               "I thought you were the kind of person who would sleep in, but I guess I was wrong. Anyways, are you busy today?" She asked.
               "I don't have any plans for today," I answered.
               "Oh, that's good then. Would you like that tour?"
                 "Really?" A smile grew on my face.
                "Yes. The cherry blossoms have bloomed and I wanted you to see them."
                   "I would love to go!" I exclaimed.
                  "Okay! Meet me at (p/n) park at 10:30. Is that okay?"
                  "Yes! I'll be there! See you then!"
                  "Alright. I'll be waiting!" She said before I hung up.

                  I jumped in joy as I went to my closet to figure out what to wear. After debating over what clothes I should wear, I finally managed to choose an outfit.
I wonder if we're going to have a  picnic there...Should I bring some food?
I shrugged to myself and decided to go along with Rikako. She seemed to have plans since she was the one who invited me after all. I went on my phone and searched for (p/n) park. It seemed pretty far. She probably went by train.
I walked outside, locking the door to my apartment, and went inside my car. I started the car and typed in the directions to (p/n) park in my phone. Then, I drove to the destination where the goddess is waiting for me.

I walked into the park, but I didn't see Rikako anywhere.
Y/n: Where are you? Are you here yet?
I looked around for the shorter girl. Suddenly, I noticed the brunette walking around. She seemed to be looking for me as well.
I ran up to the idol,"Rikako!"
She turned her head towards me and smiled,"Ah, hello Y/n!"
"So...shall we go?"
"Yeah let's go," she answered.
We walked around the park and watched all the cherry blossom petals fall from the trees. It was a beautiful sight. I've only ever seen cherry blossoms in anime and through pictures, but never in person.
"Beautiful, isn't it?"
"Yup!" I replied. "I've never seen cherry blossoms in person."
"Really? Well it's good that I brought you along then," she smiled.
"Well, I'm glad to be here with my number one idol," I said.
I didn't realize what I said until I said it.
"I'm your favorite?" She asked.
I blushed the brightest shade of red possible,"Y-Yeah! I mean I really like Riko-chan and you always seemed to catch my eye."
"I did? Well that's nice then," she answered. "I always thought you liked Suwa-chan."
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Well, during the meet and greet, I saw you hugging her. I thought she might've been your favorite since you seemed so happy to see her."
"Sh-She's not! I was more happy to see you! You've been my favorite ever since I was younger!" I exclaimed.
Her eyes widened for a second,"Oh...I see."
"Is that weird?" I turned towards her.
Her brown eyes made contact with mine,"No, not at all. It just surprised me, that's all."
"I see," I looked down at the ground.
"I guess you're my favorite fan," she grinned.
A smile grew on my face as well,"Thanks."
I unconsciously put my arm around her and gave her a side hug. When her warm body made contact with mine, I jumped away.
"I'm sorry! I just got caught up in the moment."
She laughed,"You don't need to be so distant! We're friends, right?"
"Yeah...we're friends!" I replied.
I thought being friends was good enough...Why do I want something more?
