"Will you marry me?"
After watching so many movies, I wondered how the characters felt like when asked this question. Of course they were beyond happy, but what did it feel like?
I couldn't help but cry. The woman in front of me was asking a question I didn't think I would hear after my mother arranged me to be with that snobbish businessman. I didn't imagine a future until she stepped foot into my wedding and destroyed all I was told. How could I ever say no?
"Yes!" I cried.
I jumped into her arms and smashed my lips onto hers. She fell backwards and yelped as her back hit the hardwood floor. Her eyes opened, revealing those loving (e/c) eyes. A smile grew on her face and she laughed. Laughter echoed throughout our apartment. I rested my head on her chest and laughed my heart out. I was as happy as I could be.
It wasn't too soon. Things weren't moving too fast. With her, everything was just right.
Eventually, she wiped away her tears and I wiped away my own. At this moment, all we could do was stare as if everything we were going to be was in each other's eyes.
It was beautiful. The wedding, the children, the grandchildren. The family gatherings, the birthday parties, the family trips. Everything we could ever want was within each other. The thought of our future made me smile.
I leaned back down and planted another kiss on her precious lips, brushing her (h/c) hair away from her face. This young woman changed me.
"What did you do to me?" I asked.
                She grinned,"What did I do?"
I stood up and grabbed her hands,"Let's go to bed. I promised you that next time it would be my turn."
She gasped,"You're not gonna wait for the honeymoon?"
I giggled and led her into our bedroom.

"You're getting married?!"
I proudly showed them my ring,"Yeah! We are planning to have the wedding in June."
"Wow that ring is shiny!" Ainya exclaimed.
"We'll be sure to make it to the wedding!" Anchan promised.
"We wouldn't miss it for the world," Suwawa added.
"We're all so happy for you!" AiAi smiled.
"Thank you, everyone!"
We all went in for a group hug. This is what I always wanted. The support I always needed.
"We need to get you a wedding dress!" Shuka grinned.
"I know a place!" Arisha joined.
"Your wedding dress will be beautiful!" Aikyan squealed.
"I know a great bakery. They make amazing cakes," King said.
"Looks like my wedding will be planned in no time. Thank you again."
                  "That's what friends are for!"
