Luna was exhausted. She avoided Draco all day. She also couldn't focus on her classes; she is too focused to block Draco from her mind. Draco kept trying to enter her mind. And she kept block him. She needed time to herself. Since Draco told her that she was his mate, she has no time for herself. Indeed, she was happy to be surrounded by her friends, but sometimes she would save time for herself only to reflect and think about life.

"Class dismissed," she heard Professor Flitwick's voice. She grimaced lightly, she didn't even know what he was talking all the time, she was concentrating to block Draco from her mind. She hoped that Professor Flitwick didn't realize it; he would disappoint to her if he found out.

She gathered all her books and grabbed her bag. She sighed and took a quick step toward the Ravenclaw tower before Draco find her. She could hear her stomach growling. She is so pathetic today. She was exhausted, she was sleepy, and she was hungry. But maybe she would prefer to sleep and skip dinner. If she sleeps, she will no longer feel hungry.

After reaching her dorm, she saw her roommates had been preparing for dinner.

"Don't you go out to dinner Luna?" Padma Patil suddenly asked when she saw Luna put out her Transfiguration book.

Luna looked up and shook her head, "I've got quite a lot of homework. I think it is much better if I finish faster since another homework waiting for me," she was answering with dreamy voice.

"Alright, then. You want me to bring you something to eat? I didn't even see you at lunch," Padma offers.

Luna smiled a little. Beside Ginny and Hermione, Padma always care about her and ignore her reputation, so she decides to like her. "No, but thank you," she answered softly.

...

Draco has been in the Great Hall earlier. His grey eyes never left the Ravenclaw table. He had been looking for Luna all day, but he couldn't find her. He had tried to enter her mind, but she always blocks him from her mind. He could senses that she is around but he couldn't see her. She avoided him all day and it made him insane.

He didn't mean to say that she was selfish; he doesn't even know what he is talking about. He regretted having said like that and hurt her; he really wanted to slap himself for being an idiot. But still, he didn't want Luna to be a Naturalist and leave him for a long time. But he could still consider her to complete her education. He couldn't bear to be away from her, but he was willing to take risks as long as Luna didn't leave him.

He growled loud enough when realize that the Great Hall was full and there was no sign of Luna will appear any time soon. Is she so disgusted at him so she skips dinner just to avoid him? He feels terrible. He spotted one of the Patil twins, Luna wasn't there, and usually Luna would sit next to her.

"So, after Luna you're smitten by Padma Patil, eh?" Blaise Zabini whisper quite loud in his ear.

Draco snorted, "I was still smitten by Luna," he told him firmly.

"I haven't seen her all day," Blaise said, his eyes turned to the Ravenclaw table. "And she's not there."

"I know," he snapped irritably as he filled his plate with roasted beef.

"Aha!" He shouted loud enough gaining half human population in the Great Hall. "You annoy her, aren't you?" He teased.

Draco glared at him. "Mind your own business, Zabini," he barked.

"So am I right, then?" he laughed in delight.

"Bugger off," he hissed. Blaise Zabini was the only Slytherin who aren't afraid of him. He likes teasing him. The more he gets angry, the more he mocked and teased him and Blaise enjoyed it. That may be because they have known each other since they're 5 years old and Blaise is the only person he has called as a true friend.
