Chapter 8

(Taylor's POV)

I'm in love with Kayla. She just got out of the hospital a week ago and we have gotten to know eachother very well. And I know we are meant to be.

Right now we are at my house since her mom has been on a business trip. Did I mention her moms a bitch? She has told me all these horrible stories about her and I now hate her mother. But I made a promise to Kayla... As soon as she was 18 she was getting the hell out of that house!

I made her promise me something else...

"Kayla," I said. "I need you to promise me something else, okay?"

"Okay," she said.

"You are to never cut again. Or attempt suicide, because I..." I stuttered for a moment. "I love you." I finally said.

(Kayla's POV)

My eyes grew wide when he said those words. He could never love me. It's impossible. No one can and no one will.

"Taylor," I started. "You can't love me. I'm useless. I'm nothing..." Tear brewed in my eyes and a few slid down my cheeks.

"And that's why I will spend the rest of my life proving to you that you're something," he said.

I didn't have anything else to say. I just cried. Until I realized something, a feeling I've never felt before in my life.

"I love you too, Taylor."

I let him into my heart. And out of no where I kissed him. I felt sparks go off in my heart. It was short but sweet. He wiped away my tears.

"You are something amazing," he said. I smiled and laughed a little.

"Kayla, I have a question," he said.

I got a little nervous for what he was about to ask...

"Go for it," I smiled weakly.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He said and scratched the back of his neck.

I started to panic for a minute. What should I say?! I've only know this guy a week!! But then again I did know everything about him by now.

I hesitated for a moment, then finally I said it. The words I might regret...
