Chapter 2

(Angela's POV)

It was around lunch time and I hadn't seen Kayla is a while. I started to get worried. I knew she had self harm problems and I do try to help her but she refused to stop. And she is the kind of person to actually commit suicide. She gets bullied a lot. But I've noticed lately it's by most of the popular girls in our school...to be honest, I think they're just jealous. She's gorgeous and they're ugly on the in and outside.

I decided to called Kayla.

She answered in sobs. "I'm so sorry, Angela. I love you," she said. I cried and ran.

"Whatever you do Kayla, don't hang up this phone. Please don't do anything to hurt yourself..." I paused.

"I need you," that's when I started sobbing when I got in my car. I put her on speaker and started talking to her... No response.

When I got to her house, I panicked. What was I supposed to do! My best friend could be dead! I ran to the door and tried to get in. Shit, it's locked. I grabbed the spare key under the doormat.

Once I got inside I checked the first place she'd be, her room. She wasn't there. I ran all around the house. No where. I heard a loud thump coming from the bathroom outside her moms bedroom. I forgot to check that. She was lying on the floor with pills in her hands. I knelt down beside her, I cried.

"KAYLA! Please wake up, please!" I cried.

I grabbed the phone and dialed 911.

"911 what's your emergency?"

"I think my friend commuted suicide," I finally said through my tears.

"We are sending people to help now. Do not panic please, she will be alright."

I told her where I was and Kayla's name and my name and all that other stuff. The lady was nice. She stayed on the line until the cops and ambulances came.

Was my friend dead? That's all that kept running through my mind. The medics came running in and came into the bathroom. I was pushed aside and told to meet them down by the ambulance. I was so afraid of losing my best friend.
