Chapter 9

(Taylor's POV)

She looked like she was confused and thinking... Was this bad or good?

She stood there for a minute then exhaled and said, "Taylor, I love you. But, I don't think it would work."

My heart broke. Tears were threatening to fall. I tried to hold them back. But one fell. What do I say? I didn't say anything. I walked away.

Why the hell did I do that?!

(Kayla's POV)

He walked away. Didn't even say anything. Why the hell did he do that? What do I do now? I might've just lost my one chance of happiness. What the hell Kayla.

"Taylor wait!" I screamed after him. He didn't turn around. I started to cry. I ran after him. I grabbed his shoulder and turned him around. I crashed my lips onto his. I pulled away.

"Can you please just give me a chance?" He said.

"Tayl-" I started as he cut me off.

"Kayla, I love you. I will always love you. I loved you before you even knew my name or that I even existed! I loved you when you were sleeping in the hospital. I loved you when you were at your worst. I loved you when you turned me down. Because I. Will. Always. Love. You. You are my world. I want you to be happy. But I then again I care about my happiness too... And you are my happiness," he finished.

Another tear fell down my face. He wiped it away. Then turned around and started walking away. I stood there dumbstruck.

"Taylor," I screamed. He turned around. " When I said no before it was a stupid mistake. I knew you existed. I knew your name. And I loved you then too. I loved you even with disgusting morning breathe after falling asleep in you arms. I love everything about you. And most of all I love you when you're with me. And I can't picture myself with anyone but you," I said. Wow, that's the first time I've ever let out my feelings...

He smiled and walked back over to me and just held me there. He pulled away and stared into my eyes.

"So can I have a shot?" He said.

"Of course," I said smiling like an idiot.

He kissed me passionately. I smiled and so did he. We both laughed.

"I love you," he said.

"I love you more," I said.

"I love you most," he said.

I laughed at how corny it was. But whatever.
