Countering Tides (Part 3)

Over at New Mobotropolis' Civic Center...

Over up on where the Reaper X3Y was, two larger aircraft flew out on what was the battleship's front left hangar, while several smaller aircraft flew out of the back left hangar. The large aircraft looked to be transports capable of VTOL, with the several smaller ones (eight of them to be exact) looking to be light combat VTOL; those who recognized the models would know they were Genesis Transports and T7-N4 VTOLs, which the formers were heading towards the Civic Center, while the T7-N4s acted as their escort.

Nicole materialized within the Civic Center as she was looking up to see the transports arriving. She then extended both of her hands outwards to the sides, before a clearing was made with the nanites at her disposal by simply removing any excess space such as tables and chairs and anything that basically blocked the transport's capability to land troops, without getting rid of any buildings or part of the buildings of course.

Several Royal Army Attack Helicopters in the area had noticed the T7-N4s and Genesis Transports approaching the Civic Center, as they all moved towards them in a V formation. In turn, the T7-N4s saw the Attack Helicopters moving in to attack, as they too began to approach. Soon the two aircrafts would be locked in a dogfight as the T7-N4s fired their plasma miniguns while the Attack Helicopters fired their laser rotary autocannons and some AAM missiles from their left missile launchers.

As the dogfight was happening, the two Genesis Transports managed to make it to the Civic Center, as they hovered above it with Nicole watching. Soon the Genesis Transports' gravity lifts activated from beneath them, as ground forces were being deployed. One Genesis Transport was deploying infantry, a total of thirty-seven as seventeen Zarvokian Primary Infantrymen, eight Demolition Troopers, seven Close Quarters Specialists, and five Combat Medics were deployed, while the second transport deployed land vehicles, a total of five as three Seravix Assault Mechs and two MX46 Mobile Anti-Air vehicles. Thankfully there was enough room to accommodate for all of these forces.

As the last of the infantry were deployed from the first transport, three individuals came out from the gravity lift as well, before both transports began making their way back to the Reaper X3Y Battleship. Upon closer inspection of the three individuals that landed from the gravity lift, they looked to be three hedgehogs, one a male, one a female, and another an automaton... they were Adex, Nora, and Captain Metal respectively, Nora of which had changed from her casual clothing to her Zarvokian uniform, still having her eyepatch and hat though, while Adex's attire didn't change.

Nicole approached the three as Nora was ordering the troops to secure the Civic Center, which said troops followed her orders without hesitation as they began to secure a perimeter as Captain Metal was looking around the place, while Adex noticed Nicole approaching them. "...Ah, Miss Nicole. Thank you for clearing the way for our troops" Adex said to her "No problem, thank you for helping us" Nicole said with a grateful smile.

"So what's the plan, Adex?" Nora asked when she turned to face him "...We have the Civic Center secured, right? We must keep it that way so if we need more troops, we'll have a landing zone just in case. Meanwhile, we must take back the city as swiftly as possible without causing a lot of destruction, though we must not rush either" Adex replied "Alright, I'll go lead our troops to the front lines" Nora replied, reaching for what seemed to be an advanced rifle of some kind from her back holster, which upon further inspection was her V-M21 Tesla Rifle.

"...Very well" Adex mouthed before he turned to face Captain Metal, who looked back at him "Captain Metal, I need you to assist Commander Nora at the front lines" He said "Roger, I will help the commander with her mission" Captain Metal said in acknowledge "Wait, what about you and Madison, dear?" Nora asked "...There are some old friends of mine within the city that I must ensure of their safety. Commander Madison on the other hand received word of a crashed transport in the Badlands that was trying to escape from the battle... she'll be checking the wreckage for survivors" Adex replied.
