BBC NEWS:  ACCORDING TO KENSINGTON PALACE PRINCE ALEXANDER IS GOING TO NURSERY SCHOOL.

The prince, who is two, will be attending the same nursery school as his older cousins have previously. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to be excited and nervous for the change.

Alexander is following in the steps of his older cousins who all went to nursery school. Harry and Meghan have both emphasized their want for Alexander to have as normal a childhood as possible. Sources close to the couple say they're nervous, but they want Alexander to develop friendships and interact with children his age. The couple is reportedly excited to see where this next step will take young Prince Alexander.

After some debate Meghan and Harry decided it would be a good move to put Alex in nursery school. Meghan and Harry were certain they wanted to put Alex in school, but they weren't sure how to approach it without news of his autism getting out before they were ready. They know Alex needs a different environment then the typical child, so they decided to put him in an extra help class with more attention on the individual child and emphasis on individual needs. The parents are putting Alex in special classes and although there's a chance that Alex's autism will be revealed they're willing to take it because they believe this will be the best environment for their son. Additionally, the school didn't have many leaks when Will and Kate's children attended, Harry and Meghan are hoping they're afforded the same courtesy.

When Meghan and Harry told Alex that he would be going to school he didn't have much of a reaction. They're hoping he becomes more enthusiastic about school and when time comes to actually go he doesn't have a meltdown or withdraw.

BBC NEWS: TODAY IS PRINCE ALEXANDER'S FIRST DAY OF NURSERY.

Today Alexander is going to Nursery for the first time. Harry and Meghan are both excited and nervous about Alexander's first day at Nursery because it's a new experience for them as a family.

Harry and Meghan both woke up at the normal time half 6 like normal and Meghan got up and went to get Alexander up for his first day at Nursery. Meghan enterd Alexander's bedroom and opend the curtains then she gently shook Alexander to wake him up. Alexander was quite easy to wake this time around. Once Alexander was awake Meghan got him ready for the day ahead. Harry made breakfast for all of them. Alexander was dressed in a white and blue stripped t-shirt and blue shorts.
Alexander  came down the stairs with Meghan behind him.

Meghan, Harry and Alexander sat down at the table and ate their breakfast. After they ate breakfast the time was 8:05 and their had to leave in 10 minutes for Alexander's first day at Nursery. Harry knows the press will be outside waiting for them and
he knows that the press will want Alexander to give them a wave. Alexander seems to be taking it in his stride and Meghan and Harry are both surprised about how good he's taking it all. 

The time came for them to leave the house and take Alexander to his first day at Nursery. Harry helped Alexander into the car and then got in himself. Harry pulled out from the drive and drove up to the gates where they opend the gates. The drive was quite and Alexander was looking out the windows watching the busy streets of London going about their daily business.

At half 8, they parked a little away from the nursery and got out and walked the rest of the way to Alexander's nursery where he will be attending. Meghan and Harry were holding Alexander's hands and as  they got closer the nervous were boiling inside both of them. As they got closer the nervous inside Meghan and Harry were at a high but they looked cool and collected from the outside.

Meghan and Harry got towards the nursery where the press was and Harry and Meghan both gave the carmans a wave. On the other hand, Alexander had no instead in the press what so ever. Meghan croached down infront of her beautiful precious boy who she loves dearly and tried to convince him to give the carmans a wave.

" Sweetie you see these big things over there these  are Carmans and can give them a wave like mummy." Meghan said in her calm motherly voice.

Alexander didn't listen and  went towards the door. Meghan and Harry looked at each other for a minute and then went after their son. When Meghan and Harry enterd Alexander's nursery school, they saw him standing there in the middle of the hallway leading to the classroom area. Alexander stilled had his coat and stood  there looking  lost. The teacher was waiting for Alexander and  saw a boy standing in the hallway looking lost and went towards him. When Meghan and Harry got into the building they saw a lady crounching down to Alexander's level and trying  to talk to him.

Stood up and recognised the couple coming towards her and in her brain it clicked. Meghan and Harry got to Alexander and shook hands with the teacher.

" Welocome your highness ." Miss Faith said with a beaming smile on her face.

" Please call us Harry and Meghan." Harry said casually.

" Does Alexander prefer  to be called Alexander or Alex?" Miss Faith asked Harry and Meghan.

" We call him Alex at home but whatever you feel most comfortable with." Meghan replied to Miss Faith's question.

" Right, well is there anything else I should know about Alex to make his experience more enjoyable?" Miss Faith asked Harry and Meghan who were now looking at each other.

" No I don't think there's anything." Harry said trying to not sound nervous.

Harry crouched down infront of Alexander and unzipped his son's coat and hanged it on a peg. After, Harry put Alexander's coat on his peg; Harry and Meghan said goodbye to Alexander.

Miss Faith lead Alexander into the classroom and lead him to a table where other children where playing and she sat there with him. Alexander sat there not knowing what to do. Miss faith sat next to Alexander and tired to get him to play but Alexander didn't want to play. Alexander got up from his seat and went over to the corner where there were been bags and he sat down. Miss Faith went over with a book  and sat with Alexander.

Alexander looked around the corner where he was sitting. Miss Faith opend the book and began to read.
Alexander didn't look at the teacher but he was listening to the story that the teacher was reading.

" Once upon a time there lived a princess who was trapped in a castle by a nasty Dragon." Miss Faith began to read the book.

" Dragon." Alexander repated.

" Good boy Alex!" Miss Faith praised Alex.

Miss Faith continued to read the book.

Hometime came around  and Harry came to pick Alexander up from his first day at Nursery. Harry walked into the nursery class and saw other parents collecting their children. A parent behind Harry accidently bumped into Harry and Harry turned around. The parent recognised Harry and was every sorry for bumping into him.

" I'm so sorry." The parent apologised to Prince Harry.

" Its fine." Harry brushed it off casually.

The parent walked away with her son but was still shocked by seeing Prince Harry.

Harry walked into the nursery classroom and saw Alexander in the corner with bean bags. The teacher was saying goodbye to other children from the class. After, the teacher had said goodbye to the last student she turned to Harry.

" How was he?" Harry asked his son's teacher.

" He was fine." The teacher said with a smile.

Harry went towards Alexander and got him up from the bean bags. Harry then put Alexander's coat on.

" Dragons!" Alexander shouted.

Harry laughed at his son and zipped his coat back up and then their were on there way home.
