RAINBOW

Before you read this poem I must tell you in the original version, each line was of a different colour from the rainbow to match the title. Each letter of the title was also of a different colour. The last five lines were black except for the name of colours which were of the colour they represented.

I know how much it aches; I also have been there, I've got those bleeding wounds.

I know how much it takes, when you hold on to a life vest, but you've already drowned.

Just know that every cloud has a silver lining, know there is always a light so that you do not have to shoot in the dark.

If you're not ready to come out, keep trying, if you can't breathe, imagine you're in a selva and you'll see the arc.

Even when it rains down and you're lost, the sun comes out and dances with the raindrops to create a rainbow.

It will take your heart some time to defrost, but show your true colours and you will see everything will flow.

Be yourself and love the different shades you'll find in you, be proud and strong; fight for love and you'll come through.

Always take pride in your spectrum, it does not matter if you are red or orange, yellow or green, remember to stay keen.

It doesn't matter if you're electrum; it doesn't matter if you're light or dark blue or purple, if you're a king or a queen.

Come hell or high water, you'll be a rainbow, a sky walker.
