I'm finally able to update my story. I'm extremely sorry for the delay. I'm having a hard time. Again, please let me know if you like my work.

We find our young heroes walking on a path by a river. They were just arriving at the town. It was prosperous indeed. The buildings were huge. There were multiple mansions too. But unfortunately, there was no Pokemon centre in the town. So Ash and Serena decided to stay at a hotel for the night. It was just evening. The sun was yet to set. The crimson atmosphere would be enough to put anyone in a romantic mood. As they were walking, Serena slowly moved closer to Ash. She wanted to hold his hand. But she still lacked for confidence. Then the un-expected happened. Ash gently reached for her hand and held it in his. Serena blushed hard. She slowly raised her head to make eye contact with Ash. Her eyes were glittering, her beautiful looks giving off quiet comfort. Ash smiled as he noticed her. His smirk reddened Serena's cheeks even more. It felt like they were in a relationship. But that was not true. As much as Serena wanted to kiss Ash at the moment, she knew she just couldn't. She had no right to do so. It hurt a lot. Not being able to kiss the one she had loved all her life was a terrible kind of torture. At least she could be close to him. She didn't say anything, just slowly wrapped her arms around Ash's and walked on. She put her head on his shoulder and just ignored everything in the surroundings. On the other hand, Ash was kind of in the same state. The moment was so perfect. The calm sounds of the tides, the trees on the other side of the river, the Butterfrees nearby, and most of all the setting sun and its crimson rays made it like a garden in the heaven. But having Serena there with him was just too incredible of a feeling to explain. He remembered how in the near past he had so much trouble even to just sit and enjoy the beauty of the world. And look at him at the moment, he was enjoying the beauty to a point he could had never even imagined. He knew it was all because of Serena. It was her who made him feel so desperate in the past and also so happy in the present. He couldn't even imagine a life without her anymore. He wanted so much to just get on his knees and pour his heart out to her. But he feared she would not appreciate his feelings and would think ill of him. So he decided to keep it inside for the time being. He extended his arm and wrapped it around Serena. The honey blond got surprised at first as her crush took her in his arm. But she soon started to enjoy as she put her head back on his shoulder. Ash had his hand on her waist. She too hugged him while walking. Neither of them wanted those moments to ever end. But just like before, good things had to come to an end. Both of them heard a loud noise. They saw a boy jumped into the river from on a bridge. Now being the heroes they were, Serena and Ash rushed to rescue him. Serena called her Sylveon out and it used it's feelers to pull the boy out of the river. He was already unconscious. Ash and Serena laid him on the bridge and Ash started pushing on his chest. It did not seem to work very well. "We'll have to give him mouth to mouth breath." Ash said as he looked at Serena. She hesitated a bit but agreed as they could not let him dye. Ash kept pumping his chest and Serena gave him air. Soon he started to cough as the water he had gulped came out. Serena backed away from him and Ash pulled him up. Upon getting up, he looked at the surroundings. He looked at Ash and then at Serena. "How did you fall?" He heard. But his mind was dizzy. Then he felt someone shaking him by the shoulders. He looked forth again and noticed Ash. "I asked, how you fell?" Ash asked. The boy got back to sense and looked down. He didn't say anything. "Hey are you ok?" Ash said. The boy nodded. "How did you fall?" Ash asked again. The boy didn't bother to look up. "I did not fall. I jumped." He said in a low voice. "And why were your hands and legs tied?" Serena asked this time. "I tied them myself so that I would not be able to swim." "You were trying to attend suicide!" Ash said shocked. The boy still didn't look up. "Why were you trying to kill yourself?" Serena asked concerned. The boy looked up at her and answered, "My girlfriend, she left me....." Serena looked with pity at the boy while Ash seemed disappointed. "So you just gave up on her and decided to kill yourself!" He yelled at him. The boy looked at him. His eyes seemed like he was about to break into tears. "Ash you should not talk to him like that." Serena told Ash. But Ash didn't care very much. He grabbed the boy's collar and continued, "Now listen, if you truly love someone, you can't just GIVE UP on them. You have no idea how lucky one is who has a loved one in his life. Love is always in short supply so if you have any chance of getting it, you must not let the chance go."
