Chapter 7: Memories To Recollect

 

                    The darkness of the night slowly got replaced with the shining rays of the morning sun. The Sage Town Pokémon – centre was yet to become active. Nurse Joy woke up and after changing into her working uniform and getting fresh she went to the front desk. On the way, she passed by some of the rooms reserved for the trainers. Inside one of the rooms, were our four heroes. They were enjoying a quiet soothing sleep. The previous day was quite a bit as Serena won another ribbon with everyone cheering for her. Then later on something even more special happened between Ash and Serena. But it was still unknown to Clemont and Bonnie. So they didn't notice the sweet smile on Serena's face as she slept. The morning sun-light fell on Serena's closed eyes. She slowly opened her eyes and blinked a few times as she felt the bright sun-rays. She idly sat up and stretched her arms and yawned. Her eyes fell on Ash sleeping on the opposite bed. The events from the previous day entered her mind and a bright blush appeared on her cheeks. She walked up to Ash's bed and sat beside him. She felt a little nervous but her heart and mind urged her to do it. She leaned in close to Ash. Their faces were right next to each-other. The smile on Serena's lips widened even more as she imagined what she was about to do. A part of her prohibited her to do so. Her heart raced faster and there was a slight sense of fear somewhere in her as-well but she knew it would be alright. So she took a deep breath, closed her eyes and slightly kissed Ash on the lips. That woke Ash up as he slowly opened his eyes. The first things he saw were Serena's beautiful eyes. The sweet smile of hers caused him to smile as-well. He wrapped his arms around Serena and pulled her even closer, making her practically lie on him.

"Good morning sweetie," Ash lovingly said.

"Good morning," Serena replied a little shyly. Both her and Ash's cheeks were red. They felt all warm. Serena could feel Ash's heart-beat clearly.

"Your heart is beating so fast." She said as shyly as before.

Ash gently put a hand on her cheek and answered, "Well I'm not very used to having my girlfriend in my arms."

Serena's blush widened. Ash smiled and pulled her in for another kiss. This one was a gentle, yet lasting one. However they didn't get to finish as Bonnie slowly got up and yawned distracting them. They got socked and Serena immediately pulled away and sat up. But they were lucky. Bonnie didn't notice anything. She was too much in a daze to observe her surroundings. She simply climbed down from her bed went straight to the bathroom. Ash and Serena breathed a sigh of relief as Ash sat up and embraced Serena again. They shared another loving kiss and got out of bed to get ready for the day. They were going to stay at the Pokémon-centre for another day. They would buy all the supplies and other stuff they might need and leave the next day. They had plenty of excess time. That's why they decided to be a little lazy in the morning. Clemont and Bonnie slept late while Ash and Serena enjoyed a relaxing, slow morning walk. They met up in the cafeteria for breakfast.

"And that's it." Ash said as he finished explaining how he got Charmander. Everyone was excited. Bonnie for one was really pumped up. She thought Charizard was really cute. The others didn't get why she felt that though.

"And what about your Alakazam? How did you meet him?" Serena asked.

Ash placed his cup of coffee on the table and began his story,

FLASHBACK

Ash had just returned from Alola the previous day. That morning, he went to professor Oak's lab to meet all his Pokemon. It had been quite a while. He rang the door-bell. No answer came. He called Professor Oak, then Tracy too but still nothing. He thought they might be in the back-yard. So he went around the house and lab. There he saw them. They were feeding the Pokemon. He called their names and waved. Professor Oak and Tracy saw him and waved back. Ash was about to sprint over the fence as he felt the ground shaking. He didn't understand what was going on and blinked his eyes twice. Then he heard a roaring noise and looked forth. His face went green as he understood he was going to feel a lot of pain. All thirty of his Tauroses broke right through the fence and tackled him into the air. Ash and Pikachu flew over the trees and landed almost 3K.M. away.
