*Tobins POV*

I walk into class barely making it. Most of the class was staring at me including Alex's crew while they were laughing except for one person Alex. She looked at me for a split second before looking back down. I go straight to the back and sit down slumping in my seat wishing I was invisible at times like this. Any other time no one notices me I get my textbook out and start doing the class work avoiding eye contact with everyone. Out of the corner of my eye I see kelley and alex whispering and looking over at me the thoughts of what they could be saying made me uneasy so I just focus on my work

*Alex's POV*
Me and kelley were whispering to eachother so Carli and Lindsey wouldn't hear

"I feel so bad I may have antagonized her for years but I had no reason to" I said frowning

Tobin and I go back to elementary school in 3rd grade. I moved to Basking ridge and it's a small town so Carli, Lindsey, and Kelley played too. Tobin always really fast with the ball and and had great skill. In 6th grade is when we all tried out for the school soccer team she had gotten even better since club days and out of jealousy I was rude to her and told her she was the worst soccer player I've ever seen I even got Carli and Lindsey to agree with me eventually it got to the point to where she quit and as far as I know she hasn't played since then and I've always regretted being that way towards her since she had so much talent and I couldn't just be a friend to her instead.

"Maybe you could try apologizing" said Kelley shrugging

"Um Kel thats not gonna work it's far to late for sorry"

I could almost see the lightbulb go off above Kelley's head

"I got an idea I'll be back" whispered yelled kelley

"Kelley! What are you doing!" I whispered yelled back

*Kelley's POV*

I get up and walk to the back and sit in a empty seat next to Tobin while the teacher wasn't looking. I can see that she saw me sit down but just ignored me.

"Tobin can I talk to you?" I say in a calm tone

"About what" she says quietly jotting notes down avoiding eye contact

"Alex-"

"No thanks" she says kind of harshly

"Please I just want to tell-"

"Look I don't know what she sent you over here for but I don't want part in it" she says still writing things down

"Oh ok" I say as I give alex a worried look from across the classroom

I watched the whole thing from my seat. Kelley gave me a look that basically said can't help you here. The bell rung and class was let out I was the first one out i stopped kelley before she walked out the class.

"Kells what did she say?"

"I tried talking to her but she didn't want to she thought you sent me over there and "didn't want anything to do with it" she said while doing air quotations "you have to do this your self alex" she said then walked away

"Great" I sighed to my self

I see Tobin walk up to Ashlyn the goalkeeper for our team as I was going to walk over to Tobin I heard someone call my name I turn around to see it was Servando he walks up to me and kisses me on the cheek

"Hey babe" he says smirking

"Hey" I say back forcing a smile

Servando and I have been dating since we were freshmen. But lately I haven't been feeling the way I used to towards him but i think it's just me.

He was about to say something but I cut him off

"Hey I think I'm gonna head to class early" I say trying not to sound like I was avoiding him

"Oh ok see you after school?" He replied looking confused as to why I was leaving early

"Sure can't wait" i say forcing another smile

I see Ashlyn walk away and then Tobin does the same. I walk faster to her catch up to her and then I tap her on the shoulder. She turns around and notices it's me then turns back around and quickens her pace making me quicken mine.

"Tobin please I just want to talk to you"

She continues walking ignoring me

"I'm sorry what I did to you all these years was wrong we're seniors now can I please try to make things right between us"

Tobin stopped dead in her tracks and looked at me her brown eyes curious but filled with fear

"I'm listening" she says

"Ok great now hear me out" I say starting to walk so we won't be late to class
