(A/N)
I'm tired. And hungry.
But aren't we all?
Anyways, I finally changed the story cover. Yay.
And I hate how pretty Lily Collins is. There goes my self esteem.
Anyways, enjoy!

I walked back to my aunt's apartment, quietly shutting the door, hoping that she doesn't hear me walk in. I closed the door, and looked around and saw no one.
So far, so good.
I started tip toe-ing across the room, pretending to be some kinda of secret ninja, but failed miserably when I walked straight into a table.
"Care to explain?" I heard aunt Katie say behind me.
I turned around and gave her a I'm sorry and please don't kill me face. "I was uhm-" trying to think of something, scrathing my head, "I was sleepover over at a friend's house. Like I texted you last night." I said.
"Mhm, alright. Well please tell me ahead of time, instead of last minute." She said, walking off to who knows where.
Whew. I walked to the bathroom and took a shower. I dried myself up, and went to my closet looking for something decent to wear. I put on a white flowly tank top which had a black outline around it, and paired it with an acid washed jeans that had some rips and holes in it. I put my leather jacket on and put on my black high top converse.
I went back to the bathroom and brushed my wet hair out, which would eventually become wavy. I applied some mascara and looked at myself one last time, making sure I looked decent. Eh, close enough.
I check the time and read 7:34 am. I walked to the kitchen, grabbed my bag and a cinnamon crunch bagel from panera and applesauce.
"Bye!" I yelled at my aunt, walking out of the apartment. I plugged in my headphones and played Scarecrow by Alex&Sierra, and started heading to school.

23, 12, 07.
I read the slip of paper with my locker combination on it, and attempted to open my locker again. For the 100th time.
"Damn it." I said, banging on my locker.
"Need some help?" a voice said from behind me. I turned around and saw Alex standing there.
"Oh hey. Yeah, I'd appreciate that." I said, moving to the side.
I handed my locker combination to him and waited for him to open.
He opened it.
On the first time.
"I swear, my locker hates me." I said, laughing nervously for some reason.
"There's always going to be haters in your life." he said, handing me my binders and notebooks.
"Who would've thought that a locker would become my hater." I said, grabbing the binders and notebooks out of his hands and slipping them into my bag.
"The world is full of weird things." he said, closing my locker for me. I nodded, agreeing with him. Since we both have film studies together, we decided to walk together.
"So, how are things between you and Jace?" he asked out of nowhere. I was taken by surprise, scrunching my eyerbrows, looking down at the floor, trying to figure out what he meant.
