(A/N)

So I decided to update so I can stall on my summer reading assignments I need to do for school and it starts in like two weeks. So I apologize in advance if this chapter sucks.

I'm listening to New Politics's songs Tonight Your Perfect, Harlem, and Yeah Yeah Yeah. Go check it out, they're great.

Okay enough stalling.

~

I woke up this morning, feeling happy. Which is strange because I am NOT a morning person. I unlocked my phone and saw that it was currently 8:03 am. Yeah, something is definitly weird and I do NOT like it.

I got up and quickly changed into a loose grey sweater and shorts and walked to the kitchen to eat. I made eggs and toast and sat on the counter, eating while checking my instagram. I scrolled through my old pictures and saw some old pictures of my friends and I back in Florida. I miss them, but then again I'm pretty sure they just used me. I kept scrolling through the old photos and came across a picture of my parents and I. I looked at it intently for a couple of minutes, and then put my phone down and got down from the counters. I shook my head from the memories and sighed. I looked over to the record player on my right and smiled a little, causing me to walk over and grab the Grease vinyl record and put it in.

I heard John Travolta's voice come on, causing me to smile and mouth the words with him.

Why this car is automatic. Travolta and I both paused.

It's systematic. We paused again.

It's hydromatic. Paused again.

Why its grease lightning! And then I attempted to dance like Travolta.

We'll get some overhead lifters and some four barrel quads, oh yeah

I grabbed the tv remote and sand along with them. (Keep talking whoa keep talking)

A fuel injection cutoff and chrome plated rods oh yeah

(I'll get the money I'll kill to get the money)

With a four speed on the floor they'll be waiting at the door

You know that ain't no shit we'll be getting lots of tit

In Grease Lightning

Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go. I dramatically ran up to the coffee table and pretended that the coffee table was a car.

Go grease lightning you're burning up the quarter mile. I sang along while moving my right hand from left to right, slowly like Travolta and his crew would.

(Grease lightning go grease lightning). I pumped my right first in the air then brought it back then two times.

Go grease lightning you're coasting throu-

"What in the world are you doing?!" A voice yelled through the beautiful song.

Huh, I don't remember this part being in the movie.

I turned around and saw the two people that I was trying to avoid. The reason why I ran away to New York. The people who always used me for some stupid reasons.

I quickly jumped off the car, I mean coffee table, and stared at them.

"Mom? Dad?"

~

Yeah, sorry for the quick little chapter and cliffhanger.

Actually nah I'm not. I'm just too lazy at the moment cause its summer break.

Vote if you liked the little throwback I did with Grease and also vote if you liked Dakota's dancing skills.

I also suggest pre-ordering Alex and Sierra's new album because so far they only released three of their songs from their album and they're soo flipping good. I cannot stop listening to them. I'm so proud of them. (Plus, they followed me on twitter so that makes it even cooler).

Okay.

Stay cool
