I packed my things to head home only to hear a knock and the open of my door. "Hey, son?" I turned around and looked at Washington. "Yes sir?" He sighed. "The other day, you said you were close friends with the kings, I was just wondering if we could try and meet up with them sometime soon? I just want to meet them." I nodded.

"I can call them now, we were trying to get together today if it's not too short notice." I suggested. George nodded. "Gladly. Allow me to inform Martha and we can be on our way?" I nodded as he walked out of my office. I picked up my phone, calling Samuel.

"Seabury speaking." That was fast. "Hey Sam, just calling to see if we could have lunch together today? John Will probably be on board and the president wants to meet the two of you." I explained, drumming my fingers on the desk. "Sounds splendid! Where and at what time?" I sighed. "Uh, preferably soon and more than likely IHop in all honesty." Another knock came to my door. "Hold on Samuel." I muted myself. "Come in?" John opened my door, peeking his head in.

"I got your email about brunch from earlier?" He asked. I nodded. "Washington would like to join us, I'm on the phone with Samuel currently figuring out the details." I explained. John nodded. "Alrighty, you're driving me." I giggled and nodded. "10 10." He whispered to me almost inaudibly. "10-10." He closed my door so I unmuted myself.

"Hey Sam, I'm back. Laurens is on board as anticipated so let's get over there around... three?" I said glaring at my phone and seeing that it was two. "Alright! Send us the address!" I nodded. "Okay, See you guys soon."

I hung up and finished packing up only hearing a knock on my door. I groaned. "Yes?" The door opened revealing someone who I didn't expect. James Madison?

"Hey, uh, just wondering something." I hummed. "I uh.... wh-was doing a survey, just going around and asking everyone the same question." I nodded. "And you want me input?" I asked. James nodded. "Yes... what do you think of the gay community?" He asked me. I paused. "I think their great... I think they're no less than us, I support their every move." I panicked. Madison paused. I FUCKED UP. "Thank you for your input sir."

TIMESKIP

I stepped out of my office, thinking harshly about the previous events, George and John spoke to each other as I walked them to my car. I looked at the ground, having memorized my spot already. "Alex?" I looked up and over to John, humming in the process.

"Did you tell him?" he asked me. I nodded. "Why do you just spread this and not talk to me? We're going to have a long drawn out talk about this." I sighed and nodded, looking back at the ground and indulging in my thoughts yet again.

"Alexander." I looked up at Laurens again. "What's wrong? You haven't really spoken since we left work." I shrugged and slipped my hand into his. "I'm just fine Laurens. Just a bit of fatigue, I stayed up late and didn't get much sleep." I lied while squeezing his hand.

"Son." Washington said blandly. "I can feel the lies radiating off of you." I shook my head. "I'm fine guys, thanks though." I looked at the ground. "C'mon you can talk to us." John added. "I said I'm fine." I snapped in response. "Alexander, just tell us what's going on with you." John continued to press.

"Madison just asked me a question that put me on the fucking spot, okay!" I responded harshly. The two of them stopped walking so I followed. "Baby, what did he say to you? I'll talk to him." John whispered while standing in front of me. "Did he say something suggestive?" George asked.

"He just asked me how I felt about the gay community and I didn't know how to fucking respond. I was scared, I panicked and said that I supported their every move. I—I'm worried and... that's it. I just. Fucking up like usual." John put his hands on either side of face.

"Alexander, it's fine, you didn't do anything wrong, you said what you believed and that's what he asked for, idn't it?" I giggled at his southern attributes and nodded. "I'm just worried... for us." John nodded and pulled me into a loving embrace, rubbing my back. "You needn't have a care in the world regarding me, I can protect myself, now, let's go have brunch with our friends and enjoy ourselves, okay sweetheart?"

I took a deep breath and nodded again while snuggling up to him, carefully returning the embrace. "I love you..." I whispered only loud enough for him to hear. "I love you too." He responded. "C'mon dear."

Mini time skip

I sat in our booth, holding John's hand under the table. "What do you think the kings'll want to drink." He asked me while rubbing my hand with his thumb. "I'm unsure dearest. You don't want to wait for them to get here before ordering?" he shrugged ad put his menu down, looking at me lovingly. "You have such good table manners, John." Washington commented. "Thank you, sir. I grew up in a Christian household I imagine I'd have something like good table manners."

George and Samuel walked in, hands interlocked to together, George took his sunglasses off as well as his husbands as they reached our table. "Sorry we're late, this one couldn't choose a shirt to save his damn life." Samuel put George on fucking blast. I giggled to myself.

"Hey! It's a very important choice that men truly need to think about. I'm still unhappy with this but Samuel said I look nice in it and," George looked at Samuel. "I do whatever my Sammy wants." Samuel blushed lightly, bringing me to the realization that Samuel must be easy to fluster. John squeezed my hand. I smiled hesitantly.

"Where in the hell are my manners? I'm King George, this is my husband Samuel Seabury." He introduced while sitting down and almost instantly putting an arm around Samuel. "George Washington." Washington greeted with a slight smile. "How long have you two been married?" Washington asked. "Oh lord, Sammy you keep up, seven years? It feels like more though." Samuel nodded. "Seven. I mark it on my calendar every year."

So, uh, obviously their PDA was going through the fucking roof, but I honestly was just happy that they were comfortable enough as who they are that they fearlessly display their affection. I smiled wider knowing that the world had gotten to a place where we had two kings somewhere in the world.

"So, did you fellas order yet?" George asked. I shook my head. "I made Laurens wait." I said only to receive a scoff from my lover. "Hush." I added with a giggle. "How are you two doing?" Samuel asked directed at me. "Oh, great. I'm finding it hard to say away from him but, that's what we got ourselves into." I responded.

"So, Mister President, you have a wife at home? It seems only appropriate to ask since you've got two gay men on each of your sides currently." George asked with a chuckle. Washington nodded. "I do, and... more children than I can manage. But, I love them all the same." He responded curtly."

"Sounds nice, how many children?" Samuel asked. "Oh god, uh... ten? Martha won't stop adopting for the life of me or her, I keep telling her that she can't take care of every child in the world but," Washington sighed. "she doesn't listen, so I end up taking in another child...." The five of us giggled. "That's so nice of your wife. And you for putting up with it." George added.

"Holy shit, Hamilton!" I looked over seeing Thomas Jefferson. I gag even at the sight of him. "What do you want?" I ask irritably. John squeezed my hand, being my anchor to reality. "Nothing just never anticipated the queers of our office- "John interjected. "Stop." "-To be hanging out with not only the president- "John interjected again. "Stop." "-With the gays of Britain." Thomas finished.

"Watch your fucking mouth Jeffershit- "John started but I cut him off. "Yeah like you aren't sucking Madison's dick in your spare time." I sipped my water as I heard the table share "oooooh"s as I drank. "I- I am so n-not! Even if I was, I would- I would be a top b-because- I-I'm a man, but I- "I cut him off. "Did you just emasculate your boyfriend?"

"I would never he's very masculine and plu- I MeAN HE'S NOT- "James walked up from behind him. "Thomas, let it go, c'mon." I winked at Thomas. "Fuck you." He walked off, Madison on his arm. Our entire booth busted out into laughter.

"That's what I call a good comeback." Washington said with a nudge, as we all collected ourselves. "Am I wrong though?" I asked already knowing nobody would say yes. "Not at all. No straight man get's that defensive about his friend." I added.
