Third person POVTaehyung was a normal high school student. He had a loving family and the best friends he could ever wish for. He had a girlfriend and he even got along with her friends. His grades were good and people generally loved him.
This is what any person that knew about the boy would tell you about him. But that was far from the truth. Yes, Taehyung had pretty much everything but that didn't make him happy.
After Taehyung came out as bisexual to his only friend at the age of 14, that friend completely shut him out. He would glare at Taehyung, shame him about his sexuality and turn people who didn't even know the boy against him.
It was a good thing that Taehyung moved to Seoul with his family that same year. He started high school in a city where no one knew him therefore no one knew about his sexuality. He made a bunch of friends and got himself a girl but that didn't take away the pain he had to deal with for being different.
He told his parents about his troubles only to be signed up for therapy. Not that he was complaining. It was a good thing and it helped him in a way.
His little sister would be described as annoying and his parents were too concerned most of the time. Taehyung simply had enough of being the centre of attention at the dinner table every day so he felt the need to move away.
"Mom, dad... I want to live in a dorm," Taehyung said one evening as the whole family was watching a movie in the living room.
"Why, sweetie? Do you not like living here?" his mother asked with her usual worried tone that her son couldn't handle at that point.
"It's not that. I just want to try it out. I would be closer to school and I could spend more time with my friends," he said. It was the truth but not the whole truth.
"And Seoyeon," his little sister said just to annoy her brother. She was only two years younger than Taehyung but sometimes the age gap seemed a lot bigger.
Taehyung only rolled his eyes. He did want to spend more time with the mentioned girl but sometimes she could be a bit... Too much. He mainly just wanted to hang out with his friends.
"I mean if you really want to... But you will need to take care of yourself. We won't be there to help," his mother said sadly. She loved her son very much but she knew he knew best.
"When do you want to move there?" his father asked.
"As soon as possible. The school year is going to start soon and I don't want to move in in the middle of the year."
With that the family decided to allow their son to move into a dorm in the following week.
The following week (cos i don't think you wanna know about the boring stuff- jk I'm just lazy)
Taehyung was now standing in front of his dorm room. He was told that he has a roommate but he knew nothing about the guy.
Room 452
He took a deep breath and twisted the doorknob. The door opened smoothly revealing a nice clean space. The first room he walked into was the bedroom. It had two beds, each in one corner of the room. Both had white clean sheets on them and there was a nightstand next to each one. Each nightstand had three drawers and a modern-ish lamp on top. The one by the bed in the left corner had a phone on it and the other was empty.
