Third person POV
Taehyung and Jungkook spent the evening getting to know each other. Taehyung talked about his family and real friends. He told the younger about the time his friend Jimin tried to make macaron cookies but couldn't find the electric mixer. Long story short - Jimin tried to beat the eggs by hand but ended up getting the white sticky goo everywhere.
Jungkook would chuckle at how exciting Taehyung was about making fun of his best friend. The reason Taehyung was so excited, however, was the younger's soft laugh. He couldn't get enough of it so his only option was to keep talking.
It was weird for Taehyung. He never felt so happy around another person. Not even around his girlfriend or his friends. The younger made him feel all warm and fuzzy inside. He also couldn't look away from the younger boy. Even though his face was covered, Taehyung could still see a slight glimmer in his pretty eyes. The effect Jungkook had on him was truly incredible.
After talking for hours they finally decided to make dinner. Surprisingly, Jungkook could cook pretty well but since they only had a few ingredients in their fridge, they settled for some ramen. It was delicious anyway. Jungkook would turn away from Taehyung and curl into a ball so that he could eat without the mask on and not worry about the older seeing his face.
They decided to wash up and go to bed soon after. Taehyung took a shower first since Jungkook insisted on going in second. Taehyung took his towel, shower gel, some sweatpants, an oversized shirt and a fresh pair of boxers. He did his business quickly and walked out of the bathroom with the towel around his neck. For some reason he was trying to look as sexy as possible in front of his cute-ish roommate.
Jungkook already had his sleeping clothes ready so he walked past the older and into the shower without sparing a glance. Taehyung was a bit offended by that but then remembered that he doesn't know Jungkook's sexuality and that the younger knows about his girlfriend. So obviously, being mad at him would be pointless.
Jungkook got out of the bathroom wearing a pair of black shorts that went down to his knees and a huge gray sweater. His damp hair was still covering his eyes and it was starting to annoy Taehyung. Jungkook wasn't wearing his black face mask. Instead he put on a white one that appeared to be thinner.
"You changed your face mask," Taehyung pointed out.
Jungkook picked up his white board and wrote down a quick reply.
I'd like to breathe easily while I sleep and not suffocate, tnx.
Taehyung nodded as he felt stupid. Of course he has to wear a thin mask to bed. That black one was thicc af.
The two boys talked/wrote some more. They realised that they both loved marvel movies, Big Bang and Van Gogh. Jungkook even promised Taehyung that he'd paint him a replica of the famous Starry night.
They went to bed at around three in the morning and despite Taehyung begging Jungkook to sleep in his bed and cuddle, the younger refused.
Once the lights were turned off, Taehyung started giggling. Since he wouldn't be able to see Jungkook's writing in the dark, the younger decided to do something else.
He picked up a pink bunny head pillow and threw it at the giggling boy.
"Ouch! Why did you do that, Jungkookie?" Taehyung asked in a playful tone. He knew that Jungkook couldn't answer because the lights were off. He acted weird in order to make Jungkook speak, after all.
Meanwhile, Jungkook was surprised by the nickname that came all of a sudden but he didn't mind since his brother would also call him that.
Jungkook's only option was to stand up and do something about the annoying boy in the other bed. He reached Taehyung's bed and crossed his arms on his chest, glaring down at the older. But of course, Taehyung couldn't see the glare.
