Third person POV
Taehyung didn't know what to do after that. What would have happened if he didn't stop Seoyeon? Would he actually enjoy doing it? Did he make a mistake by pushing her away?
He sighed and layed down on his bed. The door slowly opened and a head peeked into the room. It was the same boy from before. The one that ran away...named Jungkook. Taehyung took this as an opportunity to talk to the boy.
Taehyung POV
My roommate carefully walked towards his bed. I could tell he didn't like the awkward atmosphere by his body language. He seemed tense but maybe it was because he didn't like new people.
It looked like he wanted to lay down on his bed and burry himself in the blankets to get away from me but instead he got a white-board and a marker from one of his drawers.
He quickly scribbled something on the white surface and showed it to me.
I'm Jungkook. You must be my new roommate?
I internally laughed at the question mark but didn't question it. The way he decided to communicate surprised me though. Is he mute? Or deaf, maybe?
I took the board and marker from his hand and erased what he wrote. I wrote down my greeting to him.
Yup! I'm Kim Taehyung :)
I put a small smiley face to lighten up the mood. The boy looked at me and sighed.
I can hear you. I just prefer not to talk.
Ah... So he's mute... I didn't want to be rude so I didn't ask him why he doesn't speak. This type of communication is new to me but I could handle it. So far Jungkook seemed nice... Well... Personality wise that is.
"Oh... Sorry," I said to not make things more awkward.
It's ok. Happens all the time.
He then plopped down on his bed and took his phone from the nightstand. I decided to observe the boy.
He seemed quite skinny despite the fact that he wore baggy cloathes. He was a centimeter or two shorter than me (how I could tell? Idk). I wanted to know what his face looked like but something was telling me that would take time.
I wanted to talk some more with him to at least get to know him better and confirm that he is not a psycho.
"Hey... Why did you leave before? You could have stayed here," I asked him.
Jungkook took his board and started writing once again.
I don't like people.
I was a bit shocked by his statement. Is he really gonna kill me in my sleep?
"Not all of us are bad," I said and let out a forced laugh. Was I actually amused or just scared? Probably the second one.
I know. I have my reasons.
I was a bit creeped out but that didn't keep me from asking more questions.
"Do you have any siblings," I asked. Hopefully this would change the subject.
An older brother. You?
I was happy he asked me a question as well. Maybe he's not that bad.
"A younger sister... She's annoying as fuck." After that I heard a light chuckle from Jungkook. It sounded really pretty. Too bad he doesn't talk... "What's your brother like?"
