The boys walked the city streets (on the boulevard of broken dreams), Taehyung's hands in the pockets of his hoodie and Jungkook's tightly wrapped around his white board. Anyone could tell that the boy was anxious. Even Taehyung. The older felt bad for Jungkook, not only because the younger was obviously not okay but also because he told his friends about the café the two roommates were planning to visit.

The air was cold with a slight breeze passing the boys from time to time. It was clear that it was no longer summer and that fall was approaching. Taehyung shivered at the thought of winter and first snow. It wasn't that he disliked the cold season, he just didn't like having to wrap himself in big sweaters and coats, something he assumed Jungkook wouldn't have a problem with.

They soon arrived at the café and Taehyung thanked god for the warm atmosphere. Friends and lovers were sitting at the tables, chatting away, not paying attention to the two boys. They sat down at a table for two by the window and waited for the waiter.

Just as Taehyung looked out the window, he saw his friends waving frantically at him. Well, it was more just Jimin and Hoseok. Jin, Namjoon and Yoongi were just looking at him with small smiles. Jin had a knowing smirk on his face when his eyes landed on the boy sitting across from Taehyung, busy looking at the menu.

Taehyung felt his phone vibrate in his pocket indicating that he got a text.

The six idiots

Crab king
Enjoying your time?

Tae
Fuck you lemme breathe

Hobi
Your roommate is kinda cute tf

Chimchim
Don't let Seoyeon find out tho. She'd be pissed. I heard she fucking hates the poor kid

Tae
Why would she hate him?

"Excuse me! Are you two ready to order?" a guy who looked a bit older then Taehyung asked.

"Umm... I'll have a strawberry milkshake. What about you, Kook?" Taehyung told the handsome waiter and looked at the shy boy in front of him.

Peach iced tea, please.

The waiter nodded, despite being slightly confused by the boy's choice of communication. It didn't really bother the man as he knew that some people couldn't simply say what they would like to order. He served a deaf lady just a week ago so this wasn't that unusual.

He wrote down the orders and glanced at Jungkook one last time before walking away. Jungkook didn't even look at the waiter to notice but Taehyung did. He could see the look of admiration the man gave the younger. It wasn't at all a look of pity or confusion. It was the look Taehyung gave Jungkook several times so it didn't take him long to notice the older man fancying the younger just a bit.

The boy did seem quite attractive, despite not wearing any revealing clothes. He had a good sense of style, his hair was nicely parted and his piercings stood out the most making him look hella hot.

And yet Taehyung couldn't help but want that perverted waiter to never serve either of them again. Was he really jealous of someone he just saw? Someone he didn't even know? Because he looked at his introverted roommate? Fuck yeah, he was!

Taehyung noticed how uncomfortable Jungkook looked at such a public place and the strangers now approaching the door of the café weren't going to help the situation.
