Chapter 13: "There just can't.."

HARRY'S POV

There was a beautiful silence over the entire hall as Beth sang the last line of her song and played a few more chords on the guitar.

The crowd suddenly went crazy, screaming and chanting her name.

I felt a lump form in my throat as I thought about the lyrics more. The boy in her song was described with blond hair, and blue eyes. I knew it was about Niall.

Beth thanked the crowd and walked off stage. The boys and I snag the last of our songs and also left.

As soon as Niall walked off stage, him and Beth were immediately kissing.

I turned and walked into my dressing room, shutting the door behind me. I sat in a rolley chair and began to spin in it, trying to distract myself from reality. 

I heard a little knock on my door, and then it slowly opened. Beth quickly slipped in the door and shut it behind her.

I stopped spinning. "Hi." she said quietly

"Hey." I said, trying to recover from my dizziness

There was an awkward silence, "Your song was uh, good." I said, trying to break the silence.

She nodded, "Thanks."

"Why are you here?" I asked her

"I honestly don't know." she said, with her adorable accent.

"I never got to apologize. For what I did, I should never have pushed you around like that. I feel horrible." I said, not able to meet her eyes

She walked over to me and put her hand on my chin, lifting my face until we locked eyes. I stared into her beautiful brown eyes.

"It's okay, Harry." she said, breaking me from my trance, "There just can't be an us."

I nodded, staring up into her eyes, longing to kiss her again.

Almost as if she read my mind, she leaned into me and pressed her soft, warm lips against mine.

I held the side of her face in my hand, pulling her lips closer to mine. She moved her hand from my leg, up my body, stopping at my cheek. She gently pushed my face away.

"There just can't.." she whispered, turning and walking out the door.

Okay so aorry for the EXTREMELY short chapter, but I felt it stopped at a very dramatic place and it got the point across:)

Anyhow..anyone ship Barry now;)?

Lln,  I still have no idea where I'm going with this story:)! But ik what happened in the last chapter! Cuz I already have that written!!

Well idk what to say...

Should I start writing chapter 14?

I will answer that question..YES.

Hehehe:) If any of you were wondering, cheerleading practice was fun:) Except it made my throat hurt, hungry, tired, and my arms sore. But it was still fun!!!
